You know what I hear now - crickets!!

Jay, again please post the date the letter/check you received is stamped.

Jeff- you are a civil engineer & are having difficulty setting up a Paypal account. I will bet the $300 that I can order a pizza tonight & have the delivery driver setup in 5 minutes after he reaches my house. The only delay would be the confirmation which would come shortly afterward to verify banking. Certainly wouldn't be 5 weeks. More perfect sense from you.

Jay was even making it easy for you, willing to take Paypal which actually wouldn't have even paid him his full $300 after their fees.

Willie- you can't borrow $100 because you don't need it. LOL

NO CHECK TODAY! This is starting to look like a thread from two years ago with Deno and the IPT. You know, "The check is in the mail, but it's slow out of Chicago" thread.

By the way Hound, your last PM to me was on Jan. 26, and you stated you were putting a check in the mail that day. That was a Saturday, and even if it had not gone out until until the following Monday, Jan. 28th, that would have been eleven days ago.

And now you state on here, that now you sent the check on Monday, Feb. 4th. Did it take you a week to find a mailbox? I'm sorry I just don't understand. It leaves me to wonder if you really did send a check at all. I will be busy this weekend running the Swanee tournament, so I will not check my mail until Monday. Maybe that is sufficient time for you to pay a debt you incurred months ago.

All the other eight people who partnered up on staking John sent me checks or Paypal by mid December. You were the only one that I took at his word that he was coming to DCC. There were other people who were willing to take the last spot, but you insisted that you were in. My fault in trusting you.

I am not as patient as Shane. Actionhound agreed to be one of the backers of John Schmidt in the Ten Ball Ring Game at Derby City last month. He was the only one who didn't send me the money before hand, stating that he would be in Louisville (in several PM's) and would pay me there. He added that he was friends with John and alluded that he was coming with him.

I took him at his word. Shame on me. And made him one of the ten backers. If John had won, he would have gotten his share, and I think he knew that. As it was he wasn't there on time, and I put his $300 in for him. He PM'd me thanking me and telling me he would get the money to me. STILL WAITING Actionhound! He has, subsequent to DCC, sent me two PM's telling me he was setting up a PayPal account, and a final PM telling me the check was mailed. That last one was over a week ago.

Be careful of this guy, Jeff is his name. Thats is all I know and he lives near John in Pensacola. Do not trust him on any deals. You have been warned. He sounds good via e-mail and PM, but he is NOT! A very convincing liar!

If I do get the check I will let you know.
I'm not sure if this is a realistic idea but I thought I would throw it out anyway. It is good that people on here are made aware and know who bails on deals etc and to know that their $$ are secure. Is there a way at all to have anyone who wants action send lets say $100.00 into an escrow account of some kind and all the members can do whatever they want and know that once their $$ is gone they have to deposit more. Have someone who knows what they are doing and is trusted handle it and get a 10% commish for making sure all gets paid. Like I said it's only an idea.

If everyone wants to, to make sweat bets safer, I think we should everyone deposit into an AZ acount and let someone be the controller. We could all send in "X" amount, and let, I don't know, maybe Kevin Trudeau hold the cash. Then, he can send us out our winnings!

As an upstanding member of the You've Got Action society, I will offer myself to labor this heavy burden for a mere 10% commish. Nice idea for those concerned or for larger wagers. 5% is more realistic since both parties must pay the premium. This is essentially laying 10:9 on all money wagered. Which isn't too bad considering the guarantee of payment.

As long as like yourself the person has either good rep on here or some other qualification that people can trust it works. I give you a rep for taking on the job.

This is a good idea, I definately feel cool with escrowing money through Dan

I'm not escrowing anything until I book a goddamn winner! I should be the one that gets to keep the money since I've paid almost all of you SOB's. :D

Im sorry if I missed anyone.

I dont like owing anyone and if you gamble with me, you will get paid promptly. Thanks to everyone that has given me action on these pool matches, its been one of the highlights of this past year that I can get down on a live stream match and sweat it like I was there in person.
You forgot me buddy. :)

I thought I heard Ol' Captain Jay:
Pay me my money down
Tomorrow is the ringgame day
Pay me my money down

Pay me, pay me
Pay me my money down
Pay me or go to jail
Pay me my money down

Well, forty nights, and nights at sea
Pay me my money down
That captain worked every last dollar outta me.
Pay me my money down

Pay me, pay me
Pay me my money down
Pay me or go to jail
Pay me my money down

Betting Pool

I think we should quickly set up a $20 per square betting pool, paying off according to what day Jay receives the check - Jay can randomly draw the squares for us............Maybe with 5 chances available = one chance for today - one for Sat. - one for Mon. - one for Tues. - one for Wed. - and one for any day after Wed. combined with the check never coming at all............Whadda you guys think ?...........:D

I guess I did that here. I was hesitant to bring this up, but it has been a month now and it looks like nothing is happening, except total BS.

Nah...that's why you are so RESPECTED here and everywhere else. You tell it like it IS.

PROPS to you sir.

Regards,
Jim
