How long have you been waiting Jay? Multiply it by 5 if we're going by this postman's progress to deliver your check!

What is a very sad possibility is that it was all planned from the start. If John did well and the payoff was more than the $300 investment, then he contacts you right away and says here is the $300, give me my cut, we had an agreement. Or he just tells you to take your $300 out of his cut.

If John did not at least win back his $300 investment (which you fronted), he uses whatever excuse he needs to avoid paying you, and had a "free" shot at making some money with no risk to himself.

Regardless of his reason for not paying, even if it was being unable to pay at this moment due to unforeseen circumstances (highly unlikely), he has proven to be a total scumbag in the way this was handled. Even in the most understandable of circumstances, like if your house burned down and you lost your job the same day you were supposed to pay, you still go to the person you owe and be honest about what is going on, and work out a payment arrangement to the absolute best of your ability. Everything he has done in regards to this situation has shown that he is unwilling, not unable, to pay. He stole $300.

I totally agree here. Basically the guy made a "move" on me. He had a free roll for what could have been about $1,500. A pretty clever little con.

I couldn't seem to put a finger on him Jay, can you help me out?

Know what the difference is between a Harley Davidson motorcycle ridden by actionhound and a Hoover vacuum cleaner?

The dirtbag is in a different location.

Even if you ban Actionhound from the AZ community he will create a new profile and stiff someone again. I do believe in "Karma". He might do this again to somebody who might take it the wrong way and then put a good hurt on him. :)

As for me...an old fat italian once told me, "Money on the wood makes the bet good!" I don't have alot of trust with people's word nowaday. I like cash upfront!

That's correct!!!

Any idiot can download software for free to constantly change or even block their IP address. Plus creating endless amounts of free email accounts. Banning someone is pointless. If they want 25 accounts, they can make it happen at no cost to them.

That may be true to a minimal extent.

the point is that they have now been made unweelcome here and I will take the trouble to remove someone who has been banned as many times as required.

The free email is not the cure, I could file a complaint with an isp and they could very easily lose their account as a TOS violation.

Depends on how far the issue needs to be pushed.

I wouldn't be too worried about Actionhound having multiple accounts, he couldn't even manage to open a paypal-account ;)

Are you saying that you have the power to get someones ISP to cancel their contract? Sounds like one hell of a lawsuit to me. Of course what would I know, i only have a degree in Network Security

I wasn't meaning him specifically... Anyone who gets banned has the ability to create another account if they have enough knowledge. That's all i was saying

I understood.

It was just because of your avatar I decided to quote you, hoping that you would post one more time in this thread. And I succeeded.

(Actually I think everyone should use that avatar... She has such a lovely smile)

Heads-Up.

Your post reminds me of the Jim Croce song, Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown. :D
You know what happened to Leroy? :)

..if he is only reporting the factual behavior of the ISPs customer. It would be the ISPs decision on whether or not to terminate the contract if that behavior violated their rules. Mr. Wilson is safe.

MM...please respond to my post too:p
