what day did this happen and what was it over
I gave Timmy 8-7 and 15 hours later so on so on, the rest is just about accurate. And for the record, I only have a black eye and that's it. He's probly in more hurt than I am. All of everybody is in my corner so that alone tells it all. And to the best of my knowledge, we are both never allowed back at the horseshoe ever again. I'd be happy to reply to any questions about the situation or related topics.
Thanks

Not sure about the details but the fight did happen and I heard they were both arrested.
brandon played timmy even one pocket a set for 5 or 6 dimes. it was an 6 ahead set. Danny was in on the bet for 2 dimes of the money. brandon had timmy down 4 games and was 2 games away from the win. brandon got to even after 12 hours and 1 forfieted match. brandon said look we are at a good stopping point. leave the money with TAR and continue play after his fat boy 10 ball match.
Danny got all huffy with brandon. so, brandon offed the bet and gave the money they put up back to timmys camp and gave his backer his post money back.
timmy pulled the same move on brandon before and brandon did not see anything wrong with returning the favor in this situation.
that was several days ago. i thought that was all over. i guess not!!!!
that sucks for two young players, being barred for life by the only promoter paying the players right now has got to suck!!!!! do not get me wrong there are some promoters paying up. but , way too many are not.
i am sure my statement above would be taken literally and not in its proper context thus the clarification.

thanks for the re-cap, I saw the girls from Dannys crew running down the hall for something-after the fight. Brandon looked dead tired when he played Efren in my tournment, I didnt talk to him or Efren after Efren won. I will say Even when Efren had 13 and was on the hill, Brandon didnt give up he played hard right to the end.
In other news:
I really dont understand why when 2 guys get into a fight if no one is hurt they make a big deal out of it, the courts/jail are stuffed full as it is, even the holding tanks at intake are stuffed with 100's of people picked up for nothing 90% of the time. When there are no weapons, no one needs a Dr, the cops just seem to create work for themselfs. In Zimbabwe when we go out, if to guys get in a fight and get it sorted out they buy each other a beer.
I been watching that old show Gunsmoke with Matt Dillon everyday recently. When there is a fist fight its done and over in 5 minutes as it should be. Nowdays there are to many cops and Lawyers. Making a big deal out of nothing, IMO. People fight its human nature, period.
I cant punch anyone, It would cost me $100,000 in lawyer bills. I'm not looking to punch anyone anyways, but you can be sure who ever I did punch would have a lawsuit filed against me before the swelling went down just so they could get a payday out of me.
No surprise to me. Every night it felt like something was about to pop. There was a lot of pent up venom at this years DCC. It was like being in a down and dirty poolroom late at night. It had kind of an edgy tone to it. I was on my guard every night, not sure when and where something was going to happen.
Frankly I'm surprised there was only a fist fight. I was worried about something far worse happening. Money, gambling and yes, guns is a volatile mix. Throw in lots of booze and chemicals and you have all the ingredients for trouble. Big trouble! Luckily that didn't happen. Not this time anyway. This year's DCC was fun and exciting, but had an undertone of griminess that reminded me of rougher times.
Thanks to you for financing the 10 ball tournament. Hopefully accustats will sell the dvd of that.
As for why they charged in this case, it's the location where it happened. Fights inside a casino are bad for business. The pool players are there for a week. The little old ladies at the slots are there 365 days a year. It's different from a fight at Baldy's beer joint over a game of 8 ball. If fights become an annual thing I wouldn't be surprised if they end up looking for a different venue.
