Jams contributions are priceless.... Period. I think anyone should be able to say anything, BUT have a little respect • please. The folks that caused JAM to take a break were flat out wrong. This is my opinion and mine only. Yall prob would not say it to her face but I can assure yall u would not be disrespectful to her in my face. Period. So yes diff in opinion is fine, but be respectful thats all cause she has alot to offer. And being hard is one thing that I respect but at the same time treating a lady like a lady ( if she deserves it ) takes a much BIGGER man.

good luck with that. I like JAM, she's cool. It's just when you can hide behind a keyboard, some folks feel that gives them license to be assholes.

I can take the sucker-punches from the multiple-identitied trolls and banned members posting, and the gossipy PM-ers, but when they attack Keith, that's when I get fed up. He's an innocent bystander, and just because forum members do not like me, it should not give them free rein to attack Keith with mean-spirited comments. And the thread you are referring to, that is exactly what happened. :mad:

I might as well take this opportunity to ask for prayers. I had to take Keith to an urgent care center this past Sunday, and he is not back up to speed yet. We are praying that whatever it is that ails him, it will subside and go away soon. En route he got a little emotional and said to me, "No matter what happens, I want you to know that I have always loved you." Broke my heart.:frown:

Anyway, I can take a forum punch and keep up with the best of 'em, but my sparring days are behind me. I used to enjoy going to the Redskins games and partying with the crowd, cheering, screaming, drinking, you name it. It never seemed to fail that I'd spill my entire beer on the poor person who was unfortunate enough to sit in front of me. :embarrassed2:

Today, in the autumn of my life, I don't drink, and I'm not much on partying with the crowd anymore. I guess I prefer to sit in the alps and just watch the Redskins game from afar, kind of like what I'll be doing on AzBilliards. It's a better view [pun intended]. ;)

I find it interesting that, not all, but def many of the folks who seem to keep JAM in their crosshairs contribute nothing here. Just shit stirrers.

Like her or not, there is no question whether she contributes to this site. :thumbup:

I must disagree! Some people are all about peoples feelings. That is JAM!

Some people are all facts and no feeling! Society has a place for both. She gets upset when the fact people IGNORE the feelings they hurt.
Not that they are wrong. Just that there actions and words or opinions hurt people she cares about.

So, she fights and defends and protects like a good mother hen.

We know our community will have a member or two go off the reservation. We can tuck it away or drag them through the mud.

Jam picks tuck it away. I don't condone hiding problems because that inhibits a cure to the problem. But, let's face it the forum members are big on character assassination.

I have known JAM a very long time and KNOW of many of her good deeds. They far out weighed the occasionally troll war she becomes actively engaged in.

If something you say on here could hurt the feelings of someone else she would be the first to say keep it to yourself or discuss via PM.

Just like those BALTIMORE people that know her, you are barking up the wrong tree messing with here in front of US. Just too many people main stream and underworld respect her and bestowed many secrets and confidences.

I'm not barking up any tree. I had no problems with her until I saw that she jumped into things to stir it up herself and refused to.. actually, let me reword.. even when she found herself to be obviously in the wrong, she would not apologize and still kept trying to defend her position, knowing she was wrong! That's what you call respectful? I've had her on ignore for some time because of that and I see no reason for a change now.

Edit: That's all I've got to say on the matter. If somebody can't accept the truth, oh well.

One question did your position hurt someone? She was doing her best to PUBLICLY defend. you may think it not hurt full but she does!!!

Example: gabesmom is on here. Do you need her seeing bad stuff or comments! Think how she must feel? She did nothing wrong and JAM would defend her feelings.

If something is vicious take it to PM or keep it to yourself!

I think jam is a class act the time or two I have contacted her on personal matters about pool and all the treads I have read are CLASS above all lets hope a quick recovery for Keith and best wishes to him and jam so let all the crap rest OK

I couldn't agree more.

Its not often I disagree with my friend Banks, but this time I do. (And that's ok, too. We can't always agree.)

And on that particular note, let me add that I don't always agree with JAM, either. Still, I appreciate her and what she does here, and has to offer the forum. I find it distasteful the way she gets attacked by some here, though I'm not surprised at what people do here any longer.

JAM, I hope Keith is on the mend and feeling better, ASAP! And you take care of YOU, too, in the process. Stop by again when you get a chance.
