The pool scene was looking scary for a while with only one pool room in Reno.

Jason AKA buffalo out of New York and family reopened Diamond Billiards S Virginia st in Reno.

I thought I would post a couple pictures.
And let everyone know Its called Buffalo Billiards now.

Looks like a very nice room.

Me jealous. Have no room where I am.

I had no idea that balls could look that shiny. I'm more used to having to wash my hands after I rack.

Hundred bucks (yeah I'm not showing much heart here on a lock) says he will ban any person in his pool hall who does the exact same things he has been banned for literally everywhere across the nation even though he always complained so vocally (with incessant youtube videos as well as blog, facebook, and forum posts ad nauseum) about how unjust those bans were when he was on the receiving end.

What did he get banned everywhere across the nation for? Who is he?

He has a very nice pool room, and he's an excellent host.

When Kim and I went to Reno to play in the U.S. Bar table Championships, we stayed with him.

I believe the actual name of the place is Buffaloes Silver Cue and Ultra Lounge, only been in there a couple of times and don't know the history of the owner but everybody was very friendly when I was there. Just thankful this place reopened, its the only decent room in the area. I wish them the best of luck!

They offer a flat rate deal of $15.00 per person,
good for 8 hrs. of play from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
No sure if that goes for Sat & Sun ?

MMike and I have played there all day a couple of
times and we were treated like royalty. The Monk,
Warren Costanza, was in attendance both times.

they need more of a crowd than that to keep it open..... Looks like a nice room, best of luck!

Looks like a pretty nice place. Glad to hear a formerly closed pool hall is reopened. Good luck to the new owners.
