can you do the kamui shots?

he was jacked up over the rail.

you don't thik you can do 11? that's the easiest of all of them. just stroke the ball with high outside

Some of them he's over the rail. I should have specifically said the ones where he's in the middle if the table. I just don't like his stroke.

it's the indian not the arrow....

show videos of him doing the same shots with a Moori, Talisman, Triangle, etc...

Thats it...

Sh****t I thought I was going to see something....Those guys at kamui are lucky Elkmaster doesnt have Strikland put a video together, it would make that one look even more basic...most of those shotst are just english action off the rails...you want to see some stroke shots get yourself a copy of Buddy Halls tape Position Play from Accustats you'll then know what "whippen action" is all about...

Can I do those shots? I'll get the Simonis 300 Carom cloth put on and get back to you.

In all honesty, I'll join the handful of people who said that it's the stroke more so than the tip. With practice, most B players could pound those shots out.

I am in no way knocking their tips, but IMO they screwed up putting that video out there. I have 7 playing cues with Triangle, LePro, Everest, and their tip on one. If anything I can get a better stroke, english, and spin with the other three tips. Most pool products in the top 3 of their class are very close to the same with the #1 being there because of promotion. If you buy the #1 brand in just about any pool product you're helping the tournaments purse wise. That's not a bad thing. Johnnyt

just so everyone's clear and doesn't get all preachy with this BS. i'm just curious to see who can actually do these shots. i know it's not actually the tip that makes these possible

no need to debate in this thread. i'm only interested in these shots because they're impressive. this thread is about the shots not the tips

Put wax on the cue ball or silicone spray, if you guys were wondering how he does it, my friend would spray the cue ball with wax to do some crazy masse shots, thats how he gets so much action on the ball.

Don't know if you've ever tried wax or silicone spray on balls, but it's a mess...

Wax melts with the high temperatures of a masse shot. That leaves one ugly trace on the cloth. Silicone spray is not good as the ball will get more and more grip as it warms up...

Try Teflon spray... Much better and leaves no trace... Is what Semih Sayginer uses aswell...

Just my two cents...

"Cheating". Well, without proof of what this person did, I don't think any of these shots require silicon, teflon, wax, etc.

Corey Deuel came to my home room a few years back, and we were watching him do stroke shots on worn Simonis cloth on a table that was next to the door in a humid room. He did stuff that had us all in amazement.

My point is, don't assume that these shots can only be done with additives added to the cue ball and brand new Simonis 300 3-cushion cloth. That is simply not true.

So if I use Kamui Tips will that happen when I shoot?!!!!!:D

come on bro we already went over that. everyone that's played for more than a week knows those kind of results don't come from a tip change

this thread is only talking about the shots. kamui in the title is there only because they provided the examples
