I just found out moments ago that my friend Ted Smits aka cheesemouse on the forum passed away this weekend. He was a great influence on my pool game and brought life to the pool hall. I will be anxious to play against him again some day.

RIP Spin Doctor.

Sorry for your loss and the forum's loss. Hard for you to lose one of your major influences. Good mentors are a gift.

I have to say that losing a mentor is like losing a father, very difficult, went through it 8 months ago. :(

I hope they have simonis in heaven. RIP Cheese

I was thinking it would be nice if there was some sort of spot on the forum that we could remember departed forum members.

Just a thought

Yup, Cheesmouse was a respected member of our AZB family, and he'll be missed. Sorry for the loss of your friend.

Cheesemouse

Ted was what many refer to as a grinder in the pool world. Although not gifted with as much natural talent as some, he made up for it with determination and guts. He was a true warrior in the trenches and as nice a guy as you would ever meet afterwards. He taught many of us that there was more than one way to get the cheese.

Rest in Peace my friend.

I agree, It is a very good idea. I remember cheese from CCB. If I remember correctly when summer time come around he spent most of his time on the golf course. Real nice guy and from what I heard a pretty sporty player. RIP Cheese, the fairways are always green up there.

God Bless the family and friends of Cheesemouse. I remember him fondly from the CCB.
