What a match these two war horses are putting on, Ghost is winning after day 2 8-7 going to ten.

They are both playing some very good 1 pocket, except for some ball making, as we all knew that isnt these mens strong point!

Some very good moving going on, both of their end games is very strong!

This is a battle to the very end!

After watching them play for 2 days, no one desevres to lose this match thats how tite it is!

Iam sure there will be a rematch after this one is in the books, its so good they should sell the next one!

I believe he means the onepocket.org Ghost. As for California, all I know is the beer is cold and the girls are pretty.

John Henderson from California vs. "Luke" from Chicago.

ETA: Now I'm not sure who "OnePocketGhost" is from Chicago. They address him as "Luke" and "Bruce" on the onepocket.org forum.

Hi Jenny, as you said John Henderson vs Bruce Parry!

What a match this has been!

And it still not over!

The machine just keeps rolling and rolling and the ghost keeps moving and moving!

Does anyone know the start time today?

For anyone who loves one pocket or is a student of the game, you should be watching this match. These guys are older now, and will miss some balls, but..you'll see more moves and learn more about the game from watching these two one pocket veterans, with 95 years of one pocket knowledge between them, than you would from probably any other source.

And the serious mid 4 figure bet makes this match even more interesting.

For those interested, you'll learn more about this match up here:

Just received a message from John:
He is ready to go and appreciates all of the
support from his "West Coast" Cueist friends.

Go John !!!

I heard all the up $ is missing.Does anyone know if this is true or not? John B.

hope you're kidding :) ... but if not wouldn't surprise me

the state of pool and some of its personnel could be so much better

hill, hill match and now decide to win by two? could go on for a couple more days :)

Playing for this kind of money, i dont blame them for playing win by 2.

I sure wouldnt want to lose 10-9 without ever getting a shot in the last game (if some one broke and ran out) after battleing for 3 straight days and nite!

I most likely would of tried to play a race to 5 or 7.

But the money is not bothering either one of these men!
