I think it is Casper the ghost dressed in drag. I've seen all his movies and had no idea:eek:

Sweet chunk of wood and cue!

I think it is actually the Virgin De Guadalupe. Put the cue on ebay and make millions.

I had a cue one time that I swear had Jerry Garcia's face in it...it was freaky.

It's the spawn of the devil, awaiting birth in some witches womb........

How's that for freaky?

Buckeye Burl

Chuck, I was looking at your buckeye burl handled cue. I love that wood. Does it have to be cored? Is it light, heavy? I appreciate it. Thanks.

Yes

I see it easily. There is also a little dog nestled up to his hip.

I took a picture of a puddle of water in the hills surrounding Vancouver BC that has many of these types of images if you look at it. Maybe I can scan it and post in NPR.

Hell hound maybe? I definitely see it too though, didn't even have to try either. Very creepy, I like it. When it starts telling you to do things, that's when we have a problem. :D

Hey Chuck, what is the Price tag on that beauty $666.66 or $6666.66!!!:D

Either way Chuck, that is certainly a beautiful piece of wood!!

Take care

Starkey

Actually.... the spirit appears to be a girl.
Awesome cue!

Hope this comes out right....I love the cue, but why do I see so many cuemakers come out with boring wood?

This Starkey and some other cues have alot of character.

It amazes me, that some cuemakers, maybe most, seem to use boring woods and when they could use some wood with character to take a cue from good the unbelievable.

While I am no cuemaker, if I was and wanted some wood with birdseye, it would have TONS of birdseye. One my favorite Schick cues (I dont own) is a burl one I have seen on AZ.

Pfd is IMO, the best on using really great wood. I commission a couple cues each year from various cuemakers and usually order ebony. I ask for "grainy" ebony, and enjoy explaining my thoughts.

IMO, if the cue has great wood, it tells a much better story than a boring cue with tons of inlays.

The configuration of the wood is inconsequential. You see what is in your mind.
