Of course not. Do you think I'm crazy? I couldn't beat the shortstops around Dayton when I was a kid.

I'm interested in this topic out of curiosity and partly for commercial reasons.![]()
Some qs:
1) I have the book The Bank Shot by Fats and which chapter does he mention about the "Masked Marvels"?
2) Also, does anyone know of any Photos of these guys exist online?
Thanks a bunch

Terry Ardeno said:This has got me curious as to just who and how many players participated in the "Masked Marvel" exibitions...so....I contacted Coca Cola and after speaking with several people, I was able to speak to a person in their company who is going to research this and send me the info when they get it. They even gave me a reference # that is assigned to this question.
When I hear back, I will post what they give me.

Jay, my guess is that he may have picked up that moniker from all those old porno films he was in.jay helfert said:Freddie,
Weren't you once known as Freddie The Mask, and later Freddie Without The Mask?
Johnnyt said:The September 2007 BD has an artical about Greenleaf, ST. Jean, and others. They also metioned the Coca Cola Masked Marvel's but didn't nane many of them. Johnnyt
Johnnyt said:Anyone old enough on here to remember the Coca-Cola Masked Marvels that use to come into the bars in the NY area in the 1920’-1930’s? They wore masks and would play the best guys in the place. I believe my dad said one of them was Greenleaf. Anyone know who some of the others might have been? Johnnyt
Johnnyt said:I e-mailed Coke about a month ago asking for the names of the players. It's probably like everything else pool related...they didn't write it down. You would think that Coke would at least e-mail me back with a, "we don't know." I drink the damn stuff too. Johnnyt
Terry Ardeno said:Johnny,
Along with the email you've sent, I have also followed up with the ref # that was assigned as per the earlier email in this thread and nothing new has been found, according to Coke. I'm begining to think that if the whole list of who all was involved as the Masked Marvel's is to be found, we'll have to find it from another source other than Coke.
