Well it appears that a great tournament for Sarah Rousey has came to an end. Kelly Fisher didn't miss and didn't allow Sarah many opportunities to get anything going. Congrats to Sarah for a fantastic tournament and winning her very first televised match in a convincing fashion. I believe Sarah is on the cusp of breaking into the elite players on the womens tour and won't be long before she has her first WPBA title. Allison Fisher might say that she already has :D

I'll now be rooting for Monica to capture her first WPBA title. Lets go Monica!

Sorry I got off topic there.

Way to go Sarah!! Everyone is so proud of you. You will be in the winners circle soon. Get your speech ready, cause you're gonna be flyin pretty high!!

Congratulations to Sarah "No Really Perfect Nickname" Rousey. I'm very sorry I didn't get to see it in person. She is a really inspirational player; and I hope this is a sign of great things to come.

Interesting to note that 3 out of the final 4 women in this tournament are AZ'ers. But Sarah has been a long time member of AZ and has contributed quite a lot here. Which stands to reason she received the majority of support from this board.

I said it in another thread, but CONGRAT's Sarah! I'm so happy for for you!! you've had quite a year, young lady!!! Nice way to finish the already great year off!!!!

We all knew you had it in you Sarah. Do you attribute your improvement/comeback this year to anything special? Besides my support of course. Aiming system?, better attitude?, better food?, better BF? A more stable life?, satan worshipping?:) ,less travel? What do you think?

You have a lot to be proud of after your showing this week. Congratualtions!!!!!

Thank you so much everyone. You have all stuck with me through the good times and the bad times so I am happy it is paying off a bit. All I can say was that this was one of the best experiences of my life. I'm happy that I could be a part of the American take over of this tournament. Monica and Vivian are two of my very good friends so I am happy to see Monica finally get her big win!

As for the match with Kelly, the score looks as if maybe I was nervous and just missed a lot. The truth is...Kelly didn't miss. The best chance I had was when she was up 1-0. She broke dry and I played bad shape on the three which led to a bad safety. After that, she played great and I didn't get a shot after the break. I was determined to get on the board and luckily got a shot after the break when it was 6-0. The only ball Kelly missed the whole match was the 4-ball when it was 6-1...even then, she partially hooked me!

NoStroke...I'm not really sure what happened this year that made the big change. All I can think of is that my pool career was put on the line. I had to make a choice whether this is what I really wanted and if I could make it. I made a list of goals just before this tournament. On that list was being ranked in the top 16 and making a TV match. Now the list is very long but I am happy that I now get to mark two of those things off!

Again, congrats to Monica most of all but also Kelly for taking over the number one spot and Vivian making such a move back to the top 5!! You guys are awesome!!!

Thanks again to everyone here. You have all kept me going when I wanted to quit. It's really an awesome feeling to know I have people to reassure me with support and friendship here. You are al greatly appreciated.

Sarah,
You played great, and don't need to explain the final match.

It is just a matter of time before you win a WPBA tournament. Keep up the good work!
