Cuemaker with short turnaround?

Are there any cuemakers that have short delivery time? I'm not interested in waiting a year, more like a month or two. I'm not looking for anything fancy. I will be using a OB shaft, so i don't need a old maple shaft, just a straight butt with a G10 pin, stingray grip and a hoppe style bumperless endcap.

Give Rick Howard a call.

Secondly, if you have a couple cuemakers you like, give them a call too. I have called cuemakers and they might have something around partially finished or that could be finished.

Just a thought.

Come to the cue show in Northern California in November (12th-13th). There will be many good cue makers there with product to sell! :thumbup2:

Give Trevor from Carolina Custom Cues I have a custom breaker from him & only waited about 2 months give or take.

I would add Dave and Brandon Jacoby of Jacoby custom cues to the list. I am very pleased with the job they did on mine. They nailed the weight and balance point the wormship is fantastic and the wait time was under 4 months. Mine was not just a basic cue with my wood and pattern choice but specific weight balance point joint and pin type as well as modified but with a thread in extension. I also specigied woods used and style and all materials. They were great to deal with, very friendly and accomodating and build a great playing cue. As i said the fit and finish were absolutely perfect. The points were dead even the windows align perfectly with the points and the cue looks great.

I too have to give the nod to Jacoby Cues.
Great people to deal with and wonderful workmanship.
AND, a very reasonable delivery time.
 
Remember the golden trilogy: fast, cheap and right. You can pick any 2 you want but you can't get all 3. Joe Callaluca is makes a damn respectable cue and they play lights out. Honestly, with the economy the way it is I would think that you might be better served checking out the for sale section on this forum as there are tons of deals.
