Cues not for sale just yet... opinions wanted

So, I am in the process of getting a couple cues dialed in for sale (not for sale yet) and I am looking for opinions.

Having already upgraded the tips to the infamous Black Snipers, would I better off putting solid black Stack Leather Wraps on these, or leaving the double black linen?

I've never been a fan of linen, too slippery IMO, but I know that it is popular and these cues will be for sale. What do you think?

My opinion is nothing feels like leather and these look like they deserve it:) Nice cues!

My opinion is these are not yet in the correct section. Just kidding. Did you make those? They look really nice. I will not be buying one but I am a fan of wrapless and leather wraps.

Linen

I am a D/Black Linen Fan.....I would leave them as is since they are Real Players...JMO

Thanks......Paul

Who made these? They look really good, love the rings on them. I would put black leather, perhaps smooth leather on one and textured on another but hate stacked leather wraps.

Maker?

One looks like a Titleist conversion, is it and who is the maker? They both look great.
Thanks

Corey,
Put the Tiger pigskin wrap that Prewitt and Gina uses, you know what I am talking about. Personally I do not linen or the stacked leather. To me it feels like I have a wrapless cue. JMHO.

Wraps?

These look like high quality cues. I believe I would forego any re-wrap. If the cues are going to be sold, I'd let the new owner make the decision. I am personally partial to a soft smooth leather wrap. The stacked leather wrap finishes remind me too much of a sealed Meucci type wrap. Just an opinion.

If they are both Ariels, and the current wraps are original Ariel, I'd leave them as-is and let the buyer decide if he wants to upgrade to leather.

If they aren't Ariels, then as Emily Latella would say, nevermind.

I would leave the linen on. This way you could add at the buyers option the leather wrap he would want on the cue (for an additional amount) if he didn't like the linen. Nice cues by the way!

Thanks for the comments!

I feel like the best wrap option for them, aesthetically, if a smooth black calf skin; however a solid black stack wrap, when worn in, is almost identical to the calf (maybe a little firmer) and no seam.

Yup, they are Ariel (Carmeli). Not conversions (his point/veneer work). I asked for them like this. He did a great job!!!

I'm in no hurry to get these sold, so I will think about it a little.

I do like the idea of giving the prospective buyer their own wrap option.

Hey Kevin! Good eye!

I had these with me when I saw you the other night. Thanks again for the drink!

It's tough to say "hey check out these bitc*in new cues when Ernie G. is there to evaluate them!!! LOL!

Oh, and Tate let me win that last set

I agree with Paul, I'm a linen fan too. Better to leave it alone and let the
buyer choose, then make the decision to go to leather and add it to the
price. Just my opinon.

Corey,

Smooth leather wrap would my first choice!!

What is a "Black Sniper" ?????????

You heading to HT's tomorrow??

I know what you mean about showing cues around the Ernie.

You play good for an out of stroke guy with a job.

It was good to see you.

I would leave them original and give the buyer the option to upgrade to a leather wrap.
