I consider myself Christian, in that I believe in and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. But I am most certainly non-denominational, as I do not follow the politics and rules of the conventional churches.

Tap! Tap! Tap! That's me in a nutshell. The teachings are perfect. The churches are devised by men and therefore are.. shall we say... prone to imperfections .... imo. :)

Another Christian here! However, I've been judged by others many times because I play pool, play for pocket money or more, smoke, and even drink a beer from time to time.
Funny thing is, I've always been judged by the very people that supposedly are believers that ONLY ONE has ever been endowed with the right to judge others.

Mark, I am proud to say I'm a Christian. Welcome
back, incidentally.

Are you a Christian?

Some would probably prefer this question in the other forum called NON POOL RELATED but it might not be viewed by many Christians over there. All right, come on, I'm just KIDDING. There are some pretty cool guys over there too, just not as many people posting.

Count me in, I'm one although I'm a poor excuse for a Christian.

One day I had the honor of watching Jesus play St. Joseph a game of nine ball. St. Joseph broke, but didn't make a ball. Jesus got to the table and he was snookered.

He shot the most amazing jump shot I ever saw. The cue ball jumped straight up over 18' in the air. It caromed off the roof rafter, out the window where it hit a squirrel in a tree and dropped to the ground. A cat picked it up and carried it back to the pool table, dropping it on the table where it proceeded to bounce off a rail, into the one which rolled slowly into the nine and the nine fell center pocket into the corner.

St. Joseph looked at Jesus and said ... "did you come here to play pool or goof around?" :)

I strayed for a while, but then I found my wife, and she helped me find my way back. At this point, I feel I'm living a much fuller life. Great question Mark.

I try very hard but the devil is always trying to get in so I sometimes need more nails and more boards to keep him out, but I'm a believer.--Leonard
