custom 2x4 cases

Just to be clear about this so Sterling (or me) doesn't get the blame. I was asked to sell interiors for the cases and I refused for the time being because we are heavily backordered on cases. I recommended that they call Sterling and order the low end cases from them which are using my JB Case interiors.
Apparently they did. But as I found out the other day Sterling is completely out of the lower priced cases which have my new interior.
Sterling will not be getting new ones until around the end of September at best.
My suggestion to Chaz and company is to take progress pictures and give them to their customers to reassure them. Also not that Chaz needs any more business right now but putting those images on here would go a long way towards showing the world that he is doing something.
For my part I am doing my best to get the new order for Sterling cases done. For all the other case makers and aspiring case makers reading this I will include some uncovered interiors in the shipment if I can so that they will be ready to send from Charlotte.

Still waiting. Got a personal call from Chaz two weeks ago saying it will be here.. two weeks ago. I haven't had time to call him. Between finding an apartment in Albany, getting a job offer settled, volunteer work writing labs for my professor, I've got no time. I think I can kiss my case, my OB-1 Shaft, and $20 that I sent him, goodbye :\
jb i was in no way trying to say that you or sterling had any fault in this matter. i was simply saying that is the current ( at least for the last few weeks ) excuse as to why the cases are still unfinished. and as far as progress pictures go i have been asking chaz every other week when i call and talk to him to please send progress pics. i have yet to recieve a picture of my case. i do believe i saw a pic with felix on it though ( phinmole maybe)? This entire process has been littered with excuses since day one. First they had them all put together but then decided to switch leather. Then he remade them all and decided to use another dye. Then he decided to hand stitch them all. Then it was a month of we are waiting on the hardware because we didn't like how it looked when it was together or we decided to change the strap. At this point in time I would like to know how much of this was a real issue or was most of it a load of bull. The text i recieved from chaz yesterday is as follows VERBATIM: " Just waiting 4 the interiors 2 show up finally. Everythings as far as i can go without them. Supposed to be here this week finally." Now from what JB says it's going to be another 2 months at best.
His buddie/manager said he was victim of a internet lynch mob. I don't know if you can make anything after you have been lynched.
I HAVE MY INTERIOR HERE.... I JUST NEED THE REST.

I second that thought, and feel bad for those who are involved. Minus the useless banter, this is not much different than Eddie Wheat (IMO). My custom case took a week or two longer than originally stated, which with a 2-3 month wait, it's not a big deal. It has held up nicely for the past 2 years, and I couldn't be happier.
Best of luck to everyone still waiting. I hope the end result is not as disappointing as the wait.

Hate to hear this Felix...and I hate it for everyone else....I know things happen and stuff can be delayed....but this has got to come t and end in my opinion...I hate to say it but Chas has ruined his credibility on here...I hope everyone gets what money is owed to them back. I know it sucks for you guys and sucks for Chaz, but it needs to come to an end...I for one would like to see this come to an end
this is the exact reason I wanted my money back. just had a really bad feeling. If something seems to good to be true, it usually is.

My parents used to tell me that when they were reminding me what a terrible mistake I had made. Not that I am taking too much offense to what you said, but his cases were reasonably priced and his samples were nice. He just turned into whatever he is now. So, not sure that statement applies here.
So, I do not think it was advertised as something that would be labeled two good to be true.
I am glad you got your money back looks like some of us will not.
