Not for nothing, but nobody has done more as far as message boards and billiards to help out common folk like myself. Not only is he a World class shooter, he is also just just as good at relaying information in a useful, meaningful way like none other. He does not know me personally, and does not ask for anything, yet here and on other MBs, he has PMed me diagrams, gone way above and beyond to assist with a break shot I was working on, and went in depth about the history of things like the Camel Tour.

It's guys like Blackjack that keep me logging in to the AZ, and help motivate me to learn and do more at the pool table.

Have to completely agree. Whatever he posts here, I make sure to read as his opinion carries a lot of weight. :p

Agreed.
When someone like Blackjack, Freddie, Grady, Jay, SJM, JAM, et al, take the time to respond to posts, questions and comments on PMs, their input really does edify. They are much respected not only for their accumulated knowledge, but also as much for their willingness to "mix it up" when needed.
But truth be told, I really do enjoy almost everyone who posts and participates here. We all have our differing views and opinions, but when you get right down to the core, we all love our great sport. Plus, some of the witty, sardonic and hilarious comments bantered back and forth here are priceless. There are some talented posters here. The quips on the threads related to McNugget is the most recent example. "Monkey love", "drink a glass of shut the $#@& up", etc.
Every time I will ever pass another TacoBell, I know I'm going to giggle...
 
I remember reading his articles on easypooltutor.com when I first started getting serious about the game. They helped out a ton and I probably wouldn't have advanced as quickly as I did if it weren't for his advice.

the guy even allowed me to call him once, and we talked for about 30 minutes or so. and yep, posters, trust me, i listened.........:cool:

I'm glad you've accepted my apology for the tart comments I posted towards you on one of the plethera of Earl threads that we both posted on. I was the one who fired the first salvo and I'm glad we're now buddies.
Of course, it's because I was the first one of us to be man enough to say I was sorry...:D
But I really mean this. I try very hard now to be a kinder, gentler poster. You were the one who got the brunt of what I felt at the time, and once again, I'm grateful that you've accepted my apology.
I even gave you green rep on a couple of posts afterwards that were borderline at best, but I wanted to show you that I harbor no ill will towards you for repeatedly insulting one of pools greatest ever champions. :D
I'll tell you now what I was going to post when our tiff was at the boiling point. I almost said that I don't know what is so great about hockey. Everybody knows how boring it is. It's like soccer on ice. But I held back because we're pals now.
Jimmy, kidding aside, I do appreciate you and your input here. And I am grateful that we are buddies.

Blackjack puts the marshmallows in my lucky charms and the starch in my boxers. I always like to read his posts.
