Who all is going to DCC ,from here(az billiards)and what tournament,will u be compeating in?Banks,9ball or 1pocket.

Banks and one pocket.

I play in the banks to get used to the Diamonds and actually even cashed one year when I drew a bunch of other old farts like me. Then I ran into Randy Vaughn from Tennessee and after him Mike Surber from Mississippi. They showed me a California boy couldn't hang in banks against the south.

I do a little better in the one pocket and gamble some if I can find any other old guys who will tee it up.

Not as much action last year IMO with the action guys all trying to take shots at Dippy.

I hope to be there,all depends what the money looks like,i went the last 2years and loved every second of it,even when the old man knocked me out of the 1pocket tournament last year,i think his name was John Smith,about 75 to 80,i had him 2-0 and i thought i was stealing,well i let up just enough to get beat,after i made 1 mistake,the old man let me have it,he played perfect after that and won 3 in a row,thats why u cant let up on 1 shot,if u do u can lose.
 
I'll be there sweating the matches as usual, in all probability for the entire nine days.
 
I'll be there to watch the 9 ball and Fatboy. I may play the mini on Saturday.
 
This is what the Ten Ball Invitational look like so far: Mika, Shane, Johnny, Dennis Hatch, Alex, Rodney (defending champ), Corey, Mike Dechaine, Stevie Moore, Darren, Lee Vann, and Huidji See. I am also inviting Ralf, Francisco and Dennis Orcullo. That leaves one open spot. It will only be by invitation this year. The format is $1,000 entry fee plus $10,000 in added money. First will pay $12,000, second $7,000 and 3-4. $3,500 each. Race to 15 Ten Ball once again. Should be one of the highlights at DCC.

It's one of the main reasons I am finally going this year.
 
I'll also be going this year for the 1st time thanks too gunzby gettin the ball rolling. Looking forward to it

I am going to the DCC and plan on eating hot browns in Big L on Bardstown Rd. Late night ice cream is also on the agenda on a regular basis, plus my usual one pocket match with some guy from Chicago I met a few years ago. Playing in the tournaments are almost out since I can never tell one day from the next how the pain levels will be. May do banks and one pocket. Most definitely will take down Lulu, Dudly, Ghost again this year. That will pay for the trip. I will be taking some nice cues with me to sell. Several Limited Schons, UL(uncle larry), Black Pearl. Jazz cues, Samsara, Woodsworth. Of course I will have my usual broke horse games my traveling companion sets up. Maybe a certain lawyer from Seattle will want to play either JR or me. YEE HAW Reporting from Best Coast pool live action from the TV Table. :thumbup::thumbup::D
 
If I get my knee money....

If my knee finally gets rated through the VA and I get my back pay, I'll be going and competing in all three.

The DCC!! Action and tournys, 24-7.The hardest part for me Is staying rested up.To much fun,haha.See ya'll down there.Have a good safe trip everyone.John B.
 
Making my yearly donation to the banks again.. I love the game but my play does not equal my passion unfortunately.. Maybe one of these years I'll actually do well? I can promise that I'll keep on trying and loving it!
