They're off the ABP Watchez and have moved onto the next greatest association, Bonus Ball..... ABP beefs are so last year, thought you knew..... Lol

Derby City Classic: 10's Are Wild.....

Derby City Classic: Dimes Are Wild.....

I picture a poster with poker playing cards raining down over a pile of cash. Each card is the "10" card from a deck and has a different object ball on it from 1-10. It would give it some color.

Jay, Jeremy Jones wants to get into this event if there is still spots open.He will send the entry fee in in the morning if he has a spot. Thanks

Lmao. These are by far the funniest. Just dont know if Jay will think so.

How about this:

"The Gauntlet"
Subtitled:
The Derby City Classic 10 Ball Invitational Tournament

And you could have an image similar to the one below (perhaps a whimsical cartoon???), in which a pool player is depicted running through the gauntlet with other player's wielding their cues trying to beat him and pelt him with 10 balls as he bobs and weaves racing towards an image of a pile of cash money at the other end/

I don't think it's possible to sum it all up where the name of the event is meaningful enough to highlight all the important points.

I think the event needs a name plus a subtitle like some have done.

Who are the sponsors because they should be in the name somewhere right?

Is Jay a sponsor or the TD?

sponsor or TD

Jay has been helping me with many functions at the DCC for years.

From the One Pocket Challenge to the Fatboy Challenge.

He has been working for much less than he is worth in the past years.

And this year he really stepped up.

In the tradition of Bob Jewett and Fatboy.
(I know I better be careful because there are others not named at this time).

Anyway it was Jays idea for him to reach in his pocket and add $8,000 .

We had a little chuckle between ourselves as it wasn't long ago we were

discussing a salary raise for his help. Ha!

It was stated that his sponsorship would

be for this year only, but he would consider making it an annual

sponsorship as He was snickering and wanted to make sure he wasn't

having a senior moment.

All I can say is Jay has been a blessing to the DCC and pool in general.

There are many people who have helped make the DCC what it

is today and I'm sorry I haven't thanked them as much as I should

have.
