Just curious, how many people have pets that are named after something pool related or after a pool player?

Posting a pic with the name is even better......

I've got three pets that I call "fish", and they have a toy called "stick". My neighbor has a pigeon in his eaves that I think likes pool......he keeps saying "cue, cue, cue".

My wife use to breed and raise Saint Bernard's back in NY. She nick named one of them 8 ball. Of coarse it had a fancy real name. She named another "Boozer". Don't no why she came up with that :D. Johnnyt

8-ball and Boozer? Are you sure this had anything to do with pool? I see a pattern there, but it's not pool related.

A few years ago I came home to a dog on my front porch. He clearly belonged to someone so I let him stay with me while I looked for his owner. He was a black lab mix whose only marking was a white circle on his chest. I called him "Ocho"

I had a poodle mix that I bought with the winnings from a bet I had with Scott "The Shot" Smith. He bet that his brother's (Brett) team would beat our team, they didn't. Scott had a bar in Colorado Springs at that time named the Bank Shot, so just to break his balls a little I named the poodle "Bank Shot". Bank Shot lived for about 16 years. I guess I was breaking his balls for a little longer than I would have imagined. :)

never crossed my mind @ 30 yrs & 4 dogs, till now.

"Cue" would be good. so would "Slop". or "Banks".

oh - i did have a pitbull/chow 28 yrs ago, named Scratch! does she count?
(i forgot about her cause i lost her in the split - i got Scruffy)

You also very recently had a poodle named Poo. Is that Poo related? :grin-square:

Two and a half years ago I went to pick up my 5.5 week old boxer puppy. I didn't want him to have the typical dog name like Rover or Spot. I've been lucky enough to have had two Szamboti cues in the past. One Gus and one Barry cue. I went to pick up the Barry cue at Barry's house and had the chance to hang out with him at his house/shop for a while. It was a great experience. Sure wish I still had that cue. Anyway, I named my dog Boti as in Szam"boti". This is Boti, of course he is a little bigger nowadays but this has always been my favorite pic of him. He's my little buddy.
