Thanks for everybody's nice comments, a friend or friendship is worth more than anything cues in the world. I just tried to resolve this issue for my 2 friends. A pool cue is just a pool cue... a good friend is hard to find.. only a friend can help you when you need help not a pool cue..... Don, please resolve this issue I'm waiting for your Response.
A friend in need is a friend indeed

However, all of these offers are moot until Don replies.


Don, to make it easier (cash wise) I will sell the Barry Szamboti and Bull Schick cues. I will pay Peter what he paid you. Then you can send me the $800 in cash (money order or bank check) and all will be done.

I understand Don does not have computer access at the Southern Classic. Maybe somebody who is attending can offer this to Don, it would be greatly appreciated.

Is this a fair resolution?

You both have gone above and beyond good reason to work this out with Don. I'm sure someone attending the SC from the forum will help you out and present these more than fair offers to Don in person.

If I was going I would have been more than happy to do it... but it was not in the cards for me this year.

He has not replied to any of my attempts at communication thus far.

If I replace the Showman, pay Barry to refinish the Gus and get Barry to make two new shafts to replace the warped one do I get anytime in the Hot Tub with the young lady?
 
If I ever get in the mood to buy another cue off someone on here, can sombody please remind me not to buy one off Don Sherman?
 
Me being a friend of Don's, I can't stand watching this anymore. Don't you think we should hear Don's side of the story before we burn him at the stake? Don is a fair and honest man. He has been buying and selling cues since many of us were in diapers. I'm sure he has a reasonable response and will resolve this matter soon. If he's wrong, he will admit it.

Chris I'm not saying your wrong at all, I just think people should wait for Don's response before the flame war.
I hope to see this taken care of soon.

I've been through fiascos like this before, where one party is given MORE than ample time to respond with their side of the story? From what I've read, he has REFUSED to communicate with the person who made the post.

Just HOW LONG are people supposed to wait? A day, a week, a month? I think he has had more than sufficient time to give his version of events.
