As the last line of defense for an American US Open champion, Donnie proved that he is more than capable of representing Team USA in the MosconiCup team competition!! His performance merrits a serious consideration for team USA... He might be just the change up we need to reclaim the title!!
 
Yup, he took Team Europe's two best players, Immonen and Souquet, to the hill on the final day of a US Open. That's an amazing feat!

Honorable mention to Chris Bartram, the only player that beat Mika this week.

Sorry Earl, But I think those are good picks. Of course, Earl will get in, because he puts more fans in the seats. If you stop and think about it, we probably need Earl's drive in this team.

he'll have to drive to Vegas, lol. I would still have to lobby for Stevie for the Mosconi Cup team since he finished 7-8th at the Open and cashed/collected points for EVERY single tourney that goes into the formula for the Mosconi Cup team. But for sure, Donny wouldn't be a bad pick either. His game is VERY strong.

I like Donnie for future consideration, if not now.
He is a good,brave shot maker. Comes on stong when he needs to.
 
Top finishing american in the us open should have an auto spot. thats what is right imo. donnie would be an asset to the team for sure.
