Sometimes in this business its easy to lose faith in people and feel like it may be better to be a crook and play things dishonest as it seems that the people who are on the scam are all doing better than the ones who are trying to be fair and honest.

I have had these thoughts myself but my personal self respect and the thought of Karma have always stopped me.

So today, I got a email from fast Lenny saying "I have $$ for you, where do you want it sent?" This money is from the Efren V Scott One Pocket match that I did maybe 3 to 4 yrs ago. Lenny has paid me what was my end between then but as we all know sales slow down and there isn't a check worth anything every month.

So I had kinda written that project off and thought that it was over. So getting that email saying after this time that I had some money coming was awesome. What makes this a little more surprising to me is that Lenny and I have had word over the past couple years and really not on talking terms and so it would have been real easy for Lenny to say "F#&k him" and not give me anything as I would not have known any different.

So its a credit to Fast Lenny that he has stuck by his word even if he had the option to give me the finger and put a little extra in his own pocket. This has given me a refreshed outlook on things. Thank you Lenny and to all who doubt that he isn't honest please take note.

Agreed, Lenny is a great guy to deal with and very resposible. The pool world needs more people like him.

Mark that is great news and I am glad you posted it. You are correct it takes a big man to come through with the $$$ in this situation.

Nice job Lenny and thanks for the way both of you guys support our sport.

I hope whatever caused the water ripple between you two has quietly passed under the bridge. You two are both good fellas and this sport needs the contributions of people like both of you guys.

Now kiss and make up, just don't Ustream it. ;)
 
Im glad to read things like this because most of the time in this economy all you useually see is someone screwing over another . Even know the original deal is not set up to do so from the start alot of times it's just the way things turn out and then we all hear about the negative. Im glad to read a positive post here, hats off to the both of you We need more people like the both of you in our sport and doing positive things for pool,, << ED

Thanks Chris. It makes me reminded of our cue deal we did, you sent me a good chunk of change for a cue which we certainly would not do on here with newer members and it all turned out great. Oh...the good old days. :grin:

Your right and its a good feeling if your about to die knowing you did your best to keep you word and do good things. We all have made and will make mistakes, if your perfect your not from this earth. We have no expiration date so do what you can now and do it right.

An honorable man deserves recognition and support. Lenny you have, obviously earned the right to be considered an honorable man. Thanks for doing the right thing.
