Fat Boy And The Rest Of You Nits Can Be At Ease.....

Curious

I was curious so I call Bucktooth and he told me "I will play Keno on the pooltable with anyone for $100,000 a roll". I think that is all that need to be said.

I can understand Jay sticking up for Fat Boy. Jay get the poolroom open and Buy a Keno Board so FAT BOY can practice and (and maybe you will let him BET $100 or 2 a roll I don't think this will put a dent in FAT BOY Bank roll. I will even roll the ball myself with FAT BOY if you take the purse strings.. Lets hear what the rest of you got to say I will play for $100 or 2 a roll... Lets hear it from the NITS JAY.

If Bucktooth will roll the ball on Fatboys Keno Board (he says he is buying one). Then how is that a gaff (on Bucktooths part)?

This is a very attractive offer. Give me some time to think about it. Can I get back to you sometime in the next decade?

I'm over 60, play pool a couple of times a year and have a pocketful of cash. Wanna play some?

I like my penguins on ice.
I have to respect a man that knows who butters his bread...
(and your reputation for avoiding "internet challenges" is almost as legendary as Fatboy's) :D

But don't you think (after all his talk) it's about time Fatboy put in his own work?

Hey Cornfed, I am dead serious when I say this. I will play pickup sticks or tiddlywinks with a ref for big $$$$. You have your game, I have mine. Also, in honor of john schmidt: tennis, racquetball, basketball, arm wrestling, thumb wrestling, 100 yard dash, 40 yard dash, boxing, bull riding, and trading licks (you can go first).

In honor of chamillionaire; I will agree to play only basketball, only bull riding, or the combination you listed as long as tennis and racquetball are not included ... as I have never played these games (I do however feel that there is nothing you can do that I cannot do better within a week).

Fat Boy when are you getting a Board when you open your poolroom. OR would you like to match up with me when Jay says its OK to do so. Jay put your blessing on Fat Boy betting 1 or 2 $........ Big $$$$$$$$ must have Jays approval.

He has my blessing to do whatever he wants. You keep mouthing off and one day he is going to bust you. That's my prediction. He can give you the five out when it comes to brain power.

You are tooths yes man, and you're gonna call out fatboy to have jays approval? LOL! Dude, I've seen the tooth show a handfull of times, and while it is both entertaining and annoying sometimes, I've never seen him just directly insult people to their face. People on here that have never met tooth are going to assume he's like you, and its a shame that a good guy like tooth is having his reputation damaged by an idiot like you.

You do realize I'm directing this to the "tooth," don't you? I figure he has his game and I have mine. By the way, I'm around 190, now.

Tooth is in my weightclass! hahaha. You'd have a 'little' cutting to do.

I was just messing.

This thread is fun!

I generally stay around 215 at 5'10". I am between 33-34 waist. I can't cut much more.

Where are ya tooth? Or, just your choice of games?

Can I get even action on that? I'll take an 8-deck shoe for $1000 / shoe, 3 shoe minimum.... since he can do it in his sleep. An MIT BJ team member he's not.
Spidey,
I think you'd be underdog on that bet even if he could only count to 98% against the house.

He just has to bet to get in front of the shoe and then ease off the betting. If it's a $5 minimum bet, the $1,000 gives him quite a bit of leverage to double up to get a decent amount in front. Once infront, play the cheap game. A player has a better chance of winning $20 than losing $1,000 and in this case, he could risk 5k or more to pretty much make sure he finishes in front, but if he risks much more than the reward, his potential losses accumulate.

Careful with dem wiseguys!!!:p

If it's a heads-up against the dealer game with 8-decks, there's a lot of time for bad things to happen. I've played BJ with negative progression systems and let's say it doesn't go well. They say you're supposed to use positive progression betting with BJ, but with 8-decks with a 25% chop at the back, it's not easy.

My point in my earlier post is counting cards in BJ is obsolete. It's no longer possible with the chop. The longer I bet that, the more I'd win over time. I don't have to win every shoe, but he has the worst of it long-haul.... Bucktooth or not.

Don't forget with negative progression, you're only winning back your original bet. What is he gonna do, bet $5000 to win his original $10 and only then to win $500? Not gonna happen:)

I also believe it's not realistic to find value often enough counting to make it worthwhile. I suspect the only real pros are the ones who get busted counting on purpose so they can become card counting guru coaches.

imho any of the progression type systems don't change your long term return, they just change the rate of profit and loss so you might be able to say with a bankroll of 10k, starting at $5, you've got an 80% chance of winning 1k or more in the first 5 hours, and you've got a 98% chance of blowing the lot after 80 hours. Eventually the house's 1 - 3% is gonna get ya and the way you stagger it shouldn't affect the overall odds.

The thing is, it is hard to word a bet against someone's performance in a way that doesn't give them a way to improve their odds against you. That's probably a known type of con.

e.g. I'll bet my $1,000 against your $500 that I can be $50 or more up on this roulette wheel after 100 spins or at X O'clock.

A little math and you could work out a proposition that makes you about 80% favorite but it would seem almost irresistable to the fish.

Not that I'd do that. I've never got much enjoyment out of taking people's money. A Casino's money I wouldn't mind, but it's too hard with my limited bag of tricks.
