Well I survived another year, and am glad to be able to draw 16 of the best players in the world into the tournment. Its been a tough year for me but last year I gave my word I would do it again this year or do it bigger(more added $$$).
I did my best and could only add what I did last year. I hope I can make it better next year-I will be doing it again I had a talk with the boss Greg Sullivan and its official the 3rd annual Fatboy Challenge will happen next year(If I survive

I want to thank all 16 players and Greg for letting me add a little something for the players and fans to sweat. Its a honor to be able to be a part of this event. Last year I had to sit on 2 chairs cause my back hurt so bad I couldnt sit up, I hope that dosent happen this year-its embarassing laying like a drunk across 2 chairs. Bur I have no choice.
Last years finals with Ralf and Lee Van was great, Pat was going to give me the tape for Edwin Reyas to broadcast in the PI, but sadly We lost Edwin. I'm going to ask Pat for a tape of the finals(if its on the TV table) so we can distribute it to the fans some how. I'm not doing this for $$$ at all, I enjoy making other people feel good.
When I first came on AZ I said "I want to give pool a shot in the butt" and make it better, that got derailed when I closed my biz. When I'm back in the chips again I'm going to do something big real big with Mark, Greag, Jay, and the crew a real shot in the ass-I have the location sorted out-its going to be aesome. I have no incentive to make $$$, I just want to enjoy pool and see out champions have better paydays, it makes me sick since 85 the $$$ leaders are making about the same $$$, and thats wrong.
I'm really looking foward to doing this event with in a event every year, it gives the playres a much needed paycheck, and the fans a good sweat.
I hope I can do better next year, but we will have a event. Period! With Jay running it. I dont want it to over shadow the Derby, I'm just glad they let me do it. I'm not looking for attention, I almost didmt make it here this year. My interest is simple I want to make professional pool a real deal, If I can achieve that-I'm as happy as you could imagine.
Its about giving not taking. I will never look to take $$ out of pool-thats the problem. With one exception-If I'm in actionthe yeah I'm gonna play my heart out and get the cash-which would enable me to do more events. That to me is satifaction.
