When I went to Eric's house, we passed Wayne Newton's house and I recognized it, quickly pointing out what was obviouis to Eric.

Eric said - Well I have the biggest house on the block but the least amount of money. :smile:

BTW - Eric calls his 6 bedroom, 6 bath guest quarters - Motel 6.

Your home is absolutely incredible and I hope your health comes back so you can continue to enjoy life. We both suffer with back problems, but I didn't know you had to take heart meds.....I look forward to meeting you at the US Open in October. I missed seeing you last year.

Amazing place Eric. I haven't posted here in forever... But I still read it! I believe Eric mentioned something about being in the insurance industry or something at some point in the past. My pool team recently won a trip to the Nationals for APA Masters at the Riv in a few weeks. I used to live in Vegas and it's been a long time since I've been back. I might just have to swing by this place to see it for myself.

All I can say is there is no point in anyone else showing pics of their pool room.

The bar has been set and anything else pales in comparison.

Unbelievable place.
 
Eric- I do hope your heart condition completely heals, having some minor issues myself in comparison I can relate to some degree.

As others have said, that is one incredible place you have- truly breathtaking.
 
Well Fatboy, I didn't want to tell you anything but since I have now seen pictures of your place I need to let you know that you are my long lost son. :eek:

WOW is all I can say, so many nice resposnes.

I havent worked in over 2 years, living out of savings 100%, my cash is running out fast, damn it goesfast and I'm not spending much at all, i bought a cue-I sold a cue. I might have my fingers that will put me back in the chips within 6 months, if not i;m introuble, I saved for a 3 years drought, 2 has past I cant go flat to stay here.

My back is such that I dont see much of the property anyways, we will put up some more pics later next week.

Incase there is a hater out there, we voluntary shut down our biz after 12 years due to the lack of biz. We didnt get introuble with anyone for anything-but we did draw alot ao attemtion from the uniformend LOL, soon as people saw out trade practes up close and understood the biz model we never had a problem, but thosedays are long gone.

I lived so far behind my means is the only reason i'm still here, "getting rich is easy staying rich is hard". i never understood that umtil now. I lost over $70,000,000 and i'm suriving, i am just glad i saved my $$$, i have a year to start making $$$, I lived in about 1/6th of my after tax income for years-invested it in Vegas R/E, might have been on craps, whorse and coke, ;) seriously the mistake I made was taking 40-50% and putting in to realestate, had I put it in gold at 400 oz, game over, but I didnt so-I have to put my fingers into something new and make it work fast.

FYI my back seems to be getting worse so off to germany I go.....(probably in a month)


Thanks for all the kind words, but the fact of the matter is "I got luckey" and thats not BS.

i also like my 2000sqft house in LA much better than this place except the pool room

Having to deal with a degenerate disc in my lower back for 20 years plus a neck fusion in 2000 , I can relate even tho yours seems alot more severe...Hope the Doctors find a way to get you out your pain.

I once had a friend who asked a guy name Money (In ChiTown everybody had a nick name) how he made his money and that was a Really Really Big mistake. If your smart you learn not only from your mistakes but the mistakes of others. I still hold to that rule.

That is a great place you have Eric and I am sure that your luck will turn around because truth is you really can't keep a good man down. Good fortune and most of all good health to you sir!!!
 
Very inspiring as very depressing..... Inspiring because if you want something you can set your mind to do it.... Depressing because just yesterday I went with my fiancee and saw a $250,000 house that we could afford but $10,000 closing costs is not the kind of change we have hanging around..... Gotta get a 3rd job and keep on trucking
