Any other good playing Father and son teams out there?

Maybe as we develop the list, the posters can say whether or not the Father & Son teams are still active. The active F&S teams will be bold faced.
Would you pay to watch any of these teams play each other?

There are quite a few in my Friday night APA league.
I could name them if any one is interested.
I have to pay about 14-bucks a week to watch them play, but it's not by choice....I'm obligated

Hope this helps....:smile-us-down:

John and Mario vs Ernesto and Oscar would be a tight match. I would be interested in seeing that. Scotch doubles to really make it interesting.

They weren't great players, but were not too bad in the Norfolk, NE league about 25 years ago.

Jimmy Johnson (Father)
Jimmy Johnson Jr.
Jerry Johnson
Johnny Johnson

Bob & Bobby Dickerson
John & Mario Morra
James Jr. & James Davis Sr
Oscar & Ernesto Dominguez
Stan & Landon Shuffett

I noticed all of your entrants are still living. Maybe you didn't want the answers from a historical perspective.

Joey & Gary Spaeth are easily the first pair that I thought about instantly, but BHQ beat me to the punch here. My 1st choice also if they could somehow have had an all-around tournament featuring 14.1, 9 ball, one pocket and banks.

Yeah, Terry I was kind of leaning toward today's current Father & Son teams, possibly thinking about how today's Father & Son Teams could match up. Maybe I will bold face the current Father and Son Teams.

I think it would valuable from a historical sense to note the Father & Son players of yesteryear. That Joey and Gary Spaeth would have been tough to beat for sure.

I know he makes cues, but was/is Bob Owen a player? If so, he and Gabe could be added. Can't remember, but didn't Wade Crane have a relative who was also really strong?

Jose Parica has a son named Paulo that plays pretty good. I saw him on a pov pool stream and he wasn't bad. Not Jose but he's still young.
