Talented AND a capitalist!Who the fk cares??? The fact is he's here, buying property and well on his way to citizenship. He belongs on the team as much as any other.

I tend to agree with you, this is nothing against Fedor who is arguably the best player on the planet right now. But if he plays on the American team and that leads to an American win, that win would feel tainted at best. I know I'm in a minority here, but maybe American citizenship should be a criterion for American play on the Mosconi Cup. Like I say I know I'm in the minority here.
I don't see a problem with having a differing view on this. I think "ideally" citizenship would be a requirement, but Fedor's not in an ideal situation. He's in the process of becoming a citizen. He's already waaaaay more of a citizen than the busloads of illegals that Biden&Co. call 'citizens'. A win with FG won't be 'tainted' in the least.
So far, you’re the only one….I’m sure there’s more, but a minority.Must be a different part of the country then I live in....lol
Didn't know AZB was the place the majority of Canadians hang out...lolSo far, you’re the only one….I’m sure there’s more, but a minority.

JFK was much more of a president than he was a liberal. He sent the Russians out of Cuba, was a war hero and was a true American.Things can be deceiving…I’m a conservative Canuck with a liberal American president as my avatar
I worship the ground Fedor walks on, and I think he's a gift to the sport of pool. I also think the American team should be made up of Americans--for a practical reason and for a more subjective reason. First, what if, next year, established rules are suddenly modified in a way that greatly benefits Europe's chances of winning the Mosconi? Anybody really want to see that? Second, those of us (and I know of three in this thread) who have spouses or in-laws who have been thru the citizenship process and attended the ceremony know that there is a huge difference between having a green card and actually becoming a citizen. With respect for everyone's posted opinions, all this characterization of Fedor as practically a citizen or allllllmost a citizen feels to me like rationalization of something that is exciting, but not quite right.I tend to agree with you, this is nothing against Fedor who is arguably the best player on the planet right now. Alex P and John M are ready for a 20K jersey exchange.Don’t lose sleep over it. The US will probably still lose anyway.
At least that man was a leader….his kid, not so much.
