Scott was playing one of the locals $500 a game one pocket at Buffalo's and I saw this sign on the wall. It didn't seem to bother Scott as I'm sure he knows it was all in fun and in good business. Buff has a unique and fair sense of humor that he spreads around. If you know the bug and the windshield story, that's how Buff rolls.

Scott looked good giving up huge weight.

Richie was in good spirits and seemed to be playing well.

With Richie getting 8-7 from Scott it may just be a serious battle.

Lacy's Cue has ring-side seats for this event and Big Truck (www.poolactiontv.com) will be PPV streaming this event. Scott Rabon and Ray Hansen will be doing the commentary.

Who knows, Ray might let me sit in for a match to spell him.

It should be a good match and I'm looking forward to seeing these two great players battle it out.

The owner sounds like a good one, funny stuff. I think this match is going to a good one but you already know who my dough is on.

"Scratches in the hole" as opposed to scratching his head. :grin-square:

just one question?

Joey,

Think we could get to Scott for a little fix if he gets out ahead pretty good? Free beer sounds mighty tempting!

Buffalo is about forty years out of date in a good way. Reminds me of some hall owners I knew long ago. When he splashed out for a couple hundred bucks worth of pizza from his competition to give away at a tournament unannounced I knew he was one of the good guys. I was impressed it was for everybody too, not just the players. As you know he has laid out free food a bunch of times. Always a good time to be had there.

Id prefer JoeyA in the booth.

Maybe he can do a little "guest" commentary.

I will be watching this!

Maybe we can have Scott continue to play after the match is over and he will scratch for beers. :grin-square:

Yeah, Buff is the best pool room owner I have ever met. Maybe not the best business man in the world but one heck of a pool room owner. We're very lucky to have him running The World's Pool Room. ;)

I was watching a movie on Netflix called 13 Sins and there was a scene filmed inside Buffalo's. There was an exterior shot as well.

Lenny, I wish I was down there. I love Buffalo's and Nawlins area in general. Some good people and even better food down there. Joey A and Lock and Loads turf. Also the home of no foot on the ground while taking a shot. I had a guy in one of their tourneys crawl all the way on top of the table to make his shot. I will never forget that one. Good luck Scott.

How late will they play each evening 5pm-? Just curious how late I'll be up if I buy stream tonight...thanks

View attachment 358453:thumbup:It is on tonight 5pm cst should be a great match 1 pocket at its highest level get your passes here http://www.poolactiontv.com/

As is standard with every challenge match ad/poster I see that's well done, I want to know if it's available for purchase.

Get the guys to sign 50 11x17 posters and sell them to people who are tired of the GD Ratpack and Hustler pool room decor!

Pretty please?

Buffalo's and the area that surrounds it is a must see! The folks that frequent this room are the real deal. I was able to get down there a few years ago and am planning a trip back soon. Joey and Hu were great ambassadors of the area and I cant wait to visit this area again. Here is a pic from my trip. We all know who this is, I will not post a pic of Hu so that I keep his action in intact:cool:
