Congrats Tina on a great tournament.

You're going to have to change your name soon

Yeah, Koopster -- I was watching most of her matches, especially the finals, and she really did play great! She especially turned on the heat in the finals, when those Frat boys (that apparently were having a party there at the very same time and making a lot of ruckus) really ticked her off. Tina really turns it on when she's ticked-off!

And, when she wasn't playing, she spent a good bit of her time in the commentary booth, offering up her actual-nice demeanor, great commentary, and great sense of humor.

I like the nicknames she shared with the chat room -- Tina "Filipina" Pawlowski, Tina "Pump stroke" Pawlowski, etc. A great stroke, and she really let it out -- hitting those balls with authority, no tentativeness whatsoever.

Great job, Tina!

Congrats Tina on a nice tournament win. Congrats also has to go to M. Herndon for a smoothly run first tournament on a new tour. Johnnyt

Yeah, that stroke is pretty awesome...
Those nicknames are perfect.

bet against Tina P...

So, just before the Tina/Emylin match I did my best to get some small half c-note action on Emylin from the ustream audience but no takers. Thank you for not stealing my money.

Being extremely intelligent, I kept my mouth shut for the final match where Tina spanked up on Ms. Ward real good. I will say that Tina got game. And, yeah, the loud frat boys incident seemed to fuel her fire. She at one point left the table and visited them herself.

Congratulations on an impressive win, Tina, and props to Melissa for organizing a great tourney. And a big thank you to Andy and all who made the ustream possible. It was very enjoyable to watch.

Best,
Brian kc

Thank you Melissa Herndon for providing the platform.

Thank you Tina (and the other ladies) for providing the entertainment.

Thank you Andy for bringing it to us.

This event made my otherwise dull weekend quite enjoyable.

I believe one of the nicknames people were giving her on Sat in chat was Wowloski. LOL I like that one.

Tina won a good one there and Melissa did a great job of promoting and then directing it. Hats off to both of them! :ok:

P.S. I like the Tina "Filipina"!

i've seen her practice a lot when i was in san diego. she's got a real fluid powerful stroke. i always liked her game

Tina has an awesome stroke and she absolutely fires the balls in the hole. Very impressed with her game. Don't know if this is a compliment or not but "Tina plays like a dude!!!!"

It looks like Jasmin Ouschan copied Tina's stroke.:)
Congrats Tina.

Another great tourney by Melissa H.:)
We are looking forward to your next and next and...
We have this to watch until the WPBA....

Thanks for taking the time to write those nice things, I appreciate it! I was really proud of how I played especially in the finals. You play through the bad to get to have days like that. Special thanks to Melissa Herndon for running such a great event, one with only 500 added from the room, but 700 dollars for first! She truly does this because she loves the game and wants to promote pool in any way she can.

Yeah, the arm can be off the charts sometimes. I tried years ago to make it more textbook, but from the moment I started playing 17 years ago, that is how it naturally wants to stroke at a ball. Three years ago I finally stopped fighting it, and now I've progressed some. Thanks again to all the well wishers!
