Got stiffed by TX's top OB Tour woman.

Actually she handles her booze rather well. LOL

None the less, I will post her side of the story in the spirit of fairness.

Ray

Her side will have no credence if posted by a third party.

Maybe not to you.

But people who know me, it will. I'm certainly not going to attempt to paraphrase. I will post exactly what she sends and nothing more. I am also having her copy akaTrigger so she can vouch for the integrity that you are questioning.

She has no "sign on" here. I am friendly with both parties and think that both sides should be heard.

When booze is involved ANYTHING can happen. My sister in law may she RIP was a terrible alcoholic. One time she was found wandering New York City naked from the waist down, no idea who she was, or where she was so they stuck her in Bellevue for observation and had to finger print her to find out her name. If the gal in question were heavily intoxicated she may not even know what happened on that particular evening. I have seen up close what alcohol can do, and if she was very intoxicated it puts a somewhat different light on her behavior.. I am not condoning or condemning either party here just my opinion...

Thanks Ray I have no doubt that you are accurate in the info that you report. I also hope this turns out well for Dragon cue and Bonnie. After all she has a strong Colorado connection.;)

Bonnie is very funny and plays a great game of pool! She is a nice person and this doesn't sound like her.

Sang and Bonnie both are friends of mine - and are both very nice - this whole this is unfortunate. I hope it all works out.

It's your your birthday, do you have to be so positive :p

I suppose you want world peace too

Just kidding

Ray, you forget the last time you got in the middle with the table light. Why bother, there will be questions only she can answer and you put yourself in a precarious position. You put your creditability on the line for someone who in all likelihood will use you. Better for you to expedite here being approved as a member here and let her fight her own battles.

I agree. She manages her own website so she is internet savvy. Let her register and tell her own side. Unless you were there and saw everything first-hand, don't get in the middle of it!

I can't believe this thread! It's taken a life of its own and like a rubber necker, I can't stay off of it. Who knew a $40 bet would be the beginnings of such high drama. I vote for Sang and Bonnie "pool room drama" award winners. I almost feel like I should place a bet for $40 that this thread will go 20 pages before it finally stalls out.

How do you know she manages her own website?

And how can she call herself a professional pool player if she isn't even listed on the WPBA tour? I think that this is another major problem in pool today - too many people, both men and women, are declaring them professionals when they don't have the ability.

I have seen Bonnie in Vegas each year.

I'll bet a dime it goes over forty pages

I'll bet $1000 in yankee dollars that it goes over forty pages before dying.

This is what happened last night. I don't like to gamble with women. Doesn't matter what happens, win or lose, I feel bad either way.

I've twice played this top OB Tour woman some cheap games, $5/game. The first time I beat her out of $10 & the second time she beat me also $10. No problem there. After that I told her I don't want to gamble with women. Then she started saying a whole bunch of other nonsense. I am assuming that she thinks that I am scared of her.

So tonight she saw me at a local pool hall & again wanted to play me some. I said "let's play $2/game" She laughed & refused to play. Then I said "OK let's play a race to 5 for $20 & I only have time to play for two sets. And I beat her both sets. I waited a little & see if she was going to pay me. I looked around & didn't see the money anywhere. I told her "you owe me $40". She said "yeah". That was it. Then I told "you're not going to pay me?" She again said "yeah". But still no money. So I got the hint that she was not going to pay. I just walked out.

Man, if she was a guy, something bad could have happened. But she was girl. What am I supposed to do? I think I made the right decision by just walking out. Now I have one less person to bug me.

Now of course this is only my side of the story, but this is exactly what happened last night. Some of you regular AZers were there, but did not see what's happened. I am sure you know who I am talking about. She may be funny, but not as sweet as she appears. She fooled me also.

Sorry about the rant, but I just have to let it out.
Get some other woman to rough her up a bit then split the money with her, $20 each.....LOL

LOL, nice prop bet Hu. Of course, you aren't saying whether or not those 40 pages will be of any substance and ON TOPIC...so no bet.

nice try tho...

worse than that . . .

deleted, double tap

the forum is still a little flaky

Naah, it is even worse than that. This thread is at forty-seven pages now. It's all a matter of settings!

Of course...didn't even think about it from that angle. Even sneakier. (or is it more sneaky...have to be careful with the grammar nazi's on here.)

Yes, I remember exactly what happened in the light thread. Steve's negative thread was without merit and Billiard Place could care a less.

I had a sign on expedited for Billiard-Place and they never used it.

I have heard both sides tell their version and here's what I'm hearing

Sang's story is posted here. Bonnie's story is different. She claims she went the bar to get change for a $100. When she returned, Sang was in a discussion with some 3 cushion players. She waited by the table they played at and the next time she saw Sang, he was walking out the door without collecting his money. She said that she figured he would just get it in 2 days when they would both be at G-Cues again.

Sang goes straight home and starts this thread.

That's all I know.

This is another story that we may never know what actually happened since we weren't there.

This is literally "He said,She said". LOL

We have cleared the "Top Ladies".

Sang was paid.

What else can we talk about?

Quick question: Why didn't she ask Sang if he had change for the $100?

Always thought "Vito" was from Mulberry Street

ShootingArts said:
There is only one thing to do when we are air barreled down here. Two dollars, twenty thousand dollars, it doesn't matter send Vito to visit.

I was standing talking to a visiting instructor from another part of the country at one of Tulane's colleges. He was explaining the need to get paid upfront for our professional services. I told him I always billed afterwards and never had a problem. He asked what I would do if I had a problem, basically an air barrel. "Send Vito."

With a puzzled look the instructor asked "Vito who?"

"People like Vito don't have last names."

The instructor turned towards the very sweet lady that ran the college, "Is that right?"

Sweetheart that she is she never batted an eyelash, "That's right, Vito doesn't have a last name!"

The poor out of towner looked more befuddled than ever. It was obvious that he didn't speak or quite comprehend Nawlins even when goodly spoken.

Back during the mid 70s recession my brother-in law came up with a new business venture idea, he decided to begin and operate a collection agency. His business plan was to make ONE phone call to talk to the debtor, followed up by a personal visit to the business (usually retail) with "Vito". His business model was to leave the store with either cash, a check, or the original merchandise.

He had about a 90% success rate.

I say we talk about what a low down dirty dog Bigtruck is. Here we had a thread going for days with high drama, humor, maybe a stray death threat or two, and then you go and spoil it all. Just a simple misunderstanding and worse yet Sang got paid.

Can we all say, "Ray, you are no flipping fun!"

Haven't you got something better to do like count votes in Mn or sumthing? :D :D :D

Hu(Ray I'm going to send you green rep for this but with a nasty note!)
