:scratchhead: one pocket RICH = RICHIE RICHESON????

Richard Grenier.

Good luck to both Richie one pocket and Daniel Wallace. They both have action if they ever make out to Colorado.

Doug

11;25 pm Ernesto is +3. He still looks strong. I will leave in 30 minutes.

Scott Frost hasnt been doing too good out of about 8 games he has won 1. Sylver is banking lights out. They got 2 and a half hours left.

Sylver Ochoa is a phenom!
He's showing a lot of composure and control putting it to Scott for $300 per game.
This kid is destined to be one of the greats.

Just got home. I'm getting too old for these lonnng days.

44 players but a very strong field. $1,600 on top, paying twelve spots. Parica, Scott, Sylver and "One Pocket Rich" among the undefeated players. Eight left on the winners side and four on the losers. All in the money who are coming back tomorrow. Out own Jhendy (John Henderson) still undefeated. Tang's out thanks to Damian. Rafael sent left by Sylver, but looking strong over there.

Scott and Sylver are betting three dollars a game, Scott giving up a ball, 8-7.
Mike D. and Ernesto have over 15 dimes in action. Serious action here! A lot of money bet on the side too.

I'm working hard for minimum wage this trip. :D

sylver is strong, no disrespect to scott(i really like him) but after what i saw last night, scott has his hands full giving up 8-7, i didnt go there tonight i was too lazy.

ernesto is ahead 7 or 8 last i heard

No Ernesto and Oscar covered the tables and just concentrated on this 10 ball match. It is so great to see Oscar supporting his Fathers every move. Even if Ernesto loses this tough match I think he is a winner in my eyes. The greatest father and dad combo.

in this sport with so many ill-mannered players, they are definitely an exception...... a great exception. can't get much classier than them.

Left at midnight and Ernesto was +7. That is a 13 game swing in 4 hours. People were saying this could last for days. But when Ernesto is in a groove it could be over before Sunday church. The seasoning really came out tonite. Ernesto playing several gears. He came with the safes, the banks, the jump cue, he put everything he had in his arsenal yet kept it real simple. Getting out when he had the chance.
Mike is young and like a young lion cub knows how to pounce. But sometimes you have to wait. Lay traps. Trip your opponent instead of leaping on them. Wait for the proper moment after some needed rest and relaxation and then when the kill is on its back go for the jugular.
He still has a chance if Ernesto loses his focus. But tonite the old man looked humgry and he had spied his fish and was biding his time.
I hope LA Mas posts tonite with some results. He will be there till the last ball drops.

i will still stand by my statment there is a chance they will never get to 12-either of them, i said slight chance before, like 15% chance, now i'm up to 25% chance they might never get there-some one getting to 12. After 15-16 hours of play its even, I watched most of the first night and they both had their moments, but nobody appears to have an edge, does it get any better??? They both have alot of heart. But 15 hours isnt enough time to draw any firm conclusions. I dont have a favorite to win right now-had I watched tonight I might have an opinion.

i cant figure it out Ernesto sluged himself bad 3 times last night, i mean a REAL slug the balls looked like a 1P break, I dont know WTF he doing, perhaps to change the momentum of the game, or something. Interesting stragity if thats what he is doing, but when I watched him the racks on 2 of the slugs I watched him carefully and he looked like he was tying to get a good rack, one time he had just ran 2 in a row( first game mike missed a low ball, second rack Ernesto BnR), so using a slug then on #3 rack makes no sence to me to slug yourself when you have monentim, I was watching very carefully, its the best game I seen live since SVB and Alex in January.

How many players are left? Around what time will the finals be played tomorrow?

Unless it changed, Jay told me it goes off at noon and he said he'd be surprised if it was over by midnight....another cakewalk for Jay......

Btw, I posted some pictures tonight HERE if anybody wants to see them.

Actually I believe Sylver is from McAllen, TX

Mike D. from Maine, spent time in the AZ room in DCC this year. Nice guy and not afraid to bet high with anyone if he thinks the game is even. Great for the pool, was very friendly and stayed in the room for quite some time playing anyone who wanted to play for fun.
