Hello from China!

好运萨拉! 踢某一屁股! :)

Edit: Whoops, I just translated this back to English and it didn't turn out the same.

I love this pic of us North American girls. We look like we are ready to have a street fight.
But really it is just the 4pm Asian jetlag blues. That is the time when you really hit a wall of sleepy.

It does look like . . .

if we could see your hands we would be seeing six inch claws too!

The still camera can tell some funny stories sometimes.

Best of luck to you too,

Hu

I certainly would not mess with any of you ladies.

Stay away from this forum until your last match is over in this tournament. We will revel in your stories and VICTORIES, AFTER THE TOURNAMENT.

We want you to play your best pool. Don't interact with us no matter how much you would like to. Right now, we are not your goal, we can not help you. You are the only person that has any control over what you do or how you play.

Fight for every ball, fight for every game, fight for every match.

Find a way to play your best pool by looking inside of yourself. That is where you need to be spending time until the last ball falls.

Good luck and GOOD SHOOTING.

Thank you everyone. Unfortunately, many of us were eliminated last night. :( I know my match was ugly. I had chances and got a few bad rolls. I know that theme was pretty common amongst all the losers from last nights matches. I think this tournament is a perfect example of how different pool is here in Asia. All of these girls train with a coach and practice tons. Not many of us in the States can say the same.

The crowd is behind the Asian players more than any tournament I have ever seen. The Americans left last night didn't really even get a single clap when our matches were announced...haha. It is great to see a big crowd for the majority of the matches and especially the TV matches. You can tell by the roar of the crowd who won certain matches. The fans are very appreciative of the fact that the players came from all over the world. There are lots of pictures taken and autographs signed!

This whole experience has been great. The event is so organized and well run. The hotel is very nice and has good food (okay, Western food). And the hard bed really hasn't been so bad! The only complaint about anything has to be the temperature of pretty much any room you walk into. It is very cold outside so the heat is blasting everywhere you go. The temperature in the venue had to have been about 80 degrees. Other than that discomfort, everything has been great.

Thank you everyone for supporting me, especially the Heartbackers! I greatly appreciate it. Now I'm off to root on the remaining WPBA players!

Final 8 Bracket Breakdown:

1. WPBA stars Xiaoting Pan will be facing off with Yu-Ram Cha.

2. Zhou Doudou will face Karen Korr

3. Fu Xiaofang will battle with Chen Xue

4. Liu Shasha will be matching up with Liu Shin-Mei
