This is correct. I just got word from Larry that the person that e-mailed him did agree to take all the action and is sending Larry the money tomorrow. I'm pretty sure Larry is planning to get on here and let everyone know himself as well.

No, I had a surgery last year and just got out of a back brace in November. Physical therapy 3 days a week and can't stand or walk real long.

I would love to meet you in person someday. Most everybody likes you a lot, me included. You're funny as heck also.

God willing, I'll play in the 2011 DCC. I turned 50 last April and had planned to play in it this year but fractured my back and then, after surgery, got an infection. Did not hit a ball from March 2009 until about 2 weeks ago. Be sure I'll be polishing up as best I can on my game, just in case we tangle!:grin:

Hopefully, Shannon Daulton will be inducted into the OnePocket.org H.O.F. also next year. I really would love to be there for that.

Dinner and half a footgame and I missed a whole bunch.

Kentw went from zero to 130 mph in 4.3 and then blew his engine once again. He will be back.

Larry got a backer for the full stake. I wonder if Larry will still talk to me and act like my new best friend at the DCC. Oh well, I still got Bartram. :grin:

Well for one I would like to thank most of you for your interest in sponsoring me. Although this thread is one reason I do not post on here much. It seems alot of people on here just want to be negative towards other people and think they are trying to scam them. I didnt write all the details on here and thats why I said to e-mail me. The total cost of the sponsor ship was due to the fact of what it would cost to put someone in this tournament. Do you really think someone should give up half their action for basically a free ride? If you share a ride with someone, should you not give them any gas money because they were going that way anyway? If it was just a gamble like some people said on here then I wouldnt agree to give them their money back first. I was looking for a sponsor and not 30 negative feedbacks. Thats why these forums I stay away from. If you want to bash someone.....just click the x on the upper right corner and keep your thoughts to yourself. I did get an e-mail about a sponsorship...Shane VanBoening was more than happy to stake me in this years classic.
