TAR rocks balls but let's not forget that most people who play pool 7 days a week still don't know what AZ is nor what TAR is. Most of those people couldn't name ten of the top twenty pros currently alive.
You know what would be KICK ASS! IF one of these days someone would buy a TAR feed and hook it up to the big screen at the local sports bar. When we talk about exposure how about some of us try to get exposure to people who aren't yet fanatics about the game?
I agree with you John,when I was broadcasting people thought it was something new.Not many guys knew that TAR has been doing it for about a year and also that they even existed.The ones that did acknowledged this is the future of pool because ESPN is the past and wont do anything,its really not a sport good for viewers on tv.Perhaps if you have sponsors and big money in it then it will go someplace and then you might have a tour with money and it might get more air time.JB Cases said:
People can point to what the IPT was doing and that Trudeau is a crook but do you actually think the guy has made any money off of it,I am sure he is still in the red from the few events he did,he could have started small and did 2 years worth of 100k added tournaments and geared towards longevity instead of huge payouts.The players woudl have been happier with 100k added at say a monthly event for 2 years instead a couple huge events and then hoping they get picked to go in the box for 5K.Perhaps for our next viewer challenge we can vote for John and Quinten to face off.

Is the rep worth something? I get good rep all the time but most of the time I don't even know it. I don't get any notification when I get rep I just see it from time to time when I go to my control panel.
I think it's kind of asinine to bad rep someone for a personal beef. I give good rep when the content of the post brings value to the readers.
I think I have only given bad rep once - or maybe never, and it was probably for something way over the line.
What is up with the rep wars? I don't get it. Maybe if the green bars were actually worth something. But since I have seen people "buy" rep by giving away stuff I don't really think rep is worth much. I mean I am generally pleased when someone thinks enough of something I said to comment on it with some rep but I don't obsess over it and can't really understand why other people do.

P.S. Is there any way to see past rep? I only see like the last four comments or so.

Well we dont really know who really said what. So I would refrain from knocking somebody's block off before we hear the other side of the story. John heard it from someone else. Next day I saw her she was crying and her uncle wanted to fight me saying why did I tell everyone his niece was NO GOOD. I had to explain to him that in America sometimes when we say someone is BAD it means real good. It took him a long time to cool down and she never spoke to me again.
So we dont know what really was said and until then we cant make any judgements.
If John wants to take the appoach he does then thats him. But just because he is a pro doesnt mean we the paying fans cant judge behaviour when all the facts are laid out before us. I mean Earl makes his bed and he has to sleep in it.
