I think there were some 4's on the SVB DVD's. But that was like a 4" Diamon 9'.
There's just so much trouble waiting out there in clusters and blocked lanes, not to mention just making a freakin' ball. I've never heard anyone claim even a "5" yet, but I'm sure someone has done that and higher on a bar box.
I hear all these crazy numbers for 9-ball, I think most are either exaggerated, happened on a bar bucket, included the first out off an opponent's miss, and may include safeties, where they are telling us a package of games won in a row, instead of true break and runs.
Biggest number I ever heard about for 9-ball on a tough table would be Archer running that 14 on Busty with a room full of witnesses.
I think the age of really high end 10-ball is just beginning, and guys with a monster 10-ball break (obviously like SVB) would be the ones to keep an eye on.
