I hate haters...

Last night when I parked outside our billiards hall, a burly brute started to go off on how much he "hated" my car and that I "must be a retard for driving this piece of shit." Since all his venom came completely unprovoked, I decided to stay cool to not provoke him any further. However, it probably got a bit awkward for him when I quietly picked up my pool cues from the trunk and followed him straight into the pool-hall -- he obviously didn't except that we would end up under the same roof and also seeing that I kind of "belonged" there.

I didn't think more about this as my practice time went about. But then, a few hours later, when I discover that the burly brute and his posse were checked out, it dawns on me that he might have done something to my car. So I run out to discover that the alarm was triggered and the car was covered with spit loogies. What a class act.

It's funny (not "ha-ha-funny" but "strange-funny") that envy, or whatever it is, can drive certain people to act like this, unprovoked. Hopefully he didn't also key the car -- tomorrow's daylight will tell.

It makes ya wonder about all those knuckle dragging bottomscrapers and just where the hell they come from. I have a special "cue butt" in my case for those types...~.o

Obviously, there was a lack of some parental guidance in their home. Pity their sad desperate existance. Karma is a relentless balancing force. Take solice in that.

Oh, I hope it really WAS spit and not some other bodily fluid from those jagoffs.

Haters are worthless little people who only hope they can bring other people down to their level. They can't bring theirself up to a respectable level so they do stuff like this.

Well, about the time he says "retard" you start balling up your fist. Before he says "shit" you hit him right in the pie hole the shit is spewing from. Of course, that is the low road but sometimes you got to walk it. You might get arrested but if you hit him right, he won't be able to "loogie" on your car. :)

Wow!!!

I got to agree Karma will come around and pay this person back then again if he is strung out it sounds like Karma is already working on the guy... I'm not sure I would of hit the guy with my fist I'm getting to old for that and it takes a little longer to heal up these days so I keep a tire iron or ball bat close by or a gun in the glove box years of playing pool in clubs have taught me to keep something close by ... When I reached into grab my cue I would of grabbed the bat, pipe or whatever and wore him out and Lord he better not let me get to my glove box... Again maybe the low road here and not the best way to go but when someone comes up to you acting like that you have every right to defend yourself no telling what someone like that may do... I'm glad you got out of there safe and no real damage done that can't be washed off... Though the guy had to really be a low life...

Also I got to ask what kind of car were you driving that was the first thing that popped into my head when I started reading this ... Was it Ford , Chevy , Foriegn , If you drive Dodge things like this won't happen and you won't break down near as often... lol...

Hey, It Could Happen :)

Did anyone stop to think that Peer may have indeed been driving a piece of crap car. Maybe it was one of those little cars with the giant hotdog or bug on the top.

Doug
( it might even have had a Pizza delivery sign on the top of it. Hell, it might have been a hybrid or a Hyundai ) :)

If you shot his ass as soon as he opened his mouth it would have ended right there. Probably would have to practice at another poolroom that night. Johnnyt

Probably BumpyPickle. In his jealous rage, he thought you were Austin Murphy driving a nice car that should belong to somebody else who "paid their dues."

Seriously, that sounded like a good time to tase him! Then while he's rolling around on the ground, you could spit on him.

At my age, I have to agree with one post here about the fist. Broken knuckles take a while to heal. The temptation to shoot these arseholes tends to creep up real quick. I have to say, what you did was the right thing. I walk away from this types nowdays. They are beneath any worth of acknowlegement. That being said, sometimes they give you no choice as they get physical or treaten it. In that case it is as my daughter said to one of her boyfriends I had addressed rather rudely about the location of his hands. Out of my earshot (he thought) he reflected on how he would mop up the floor with me to which she replyed " you would sooner like to try to paint a wildcats arse with turpentine than mess with my dad".

It always comes back in spades to those kinda pukes............

Maybe he was an irate environmentalist. :D

If you walked right up to him without saying a word and punched him right in the throat, he wouldn't have said another word................... literally.

Well sure, but it still might have had a Pizza delivery sign on the top at the time.

Maybe he thought Peer should have been riding IN it instead of surfing ON top of it.

Seriously people like that drive me nuts. I have had that happen when I drove my pickup in Berkeley because I was 'destroying the Earth' never mind that I was delivering donated furniture to poverty-stricken families.
