If You Could Ask One AZer One Question . . .

I'd ask John Schmidt if he'd be willing to come back to the forum more regularly and give it another chance.
He seems like a straight shooter and can give perspective that few other players can.

I would settle for some of the other pros returning. I think at some point mika, earl, and others
have all posted on here before writing it off.

I'm sure there are a few here that can answer my question..

Who is Pots an Pans ? and how he'd he come by the nick name.

Watch some AccueStats tapes, the commentators mension him a few times.
He actually sold Pots and Pans.

I'd ask Fatboy to come outside with me and share a bowl. OG! (I have back issues too).
;)

On the barbox I will take the 5 and the break Bartrum, action!

I can relate to back pain and pain meds as about 6 years ago I had a myofascial tear in my neck which shoots pain into my mid back when I sit at my desk at work...also neck/left scapula pain. It is something uncurable as I have tried every method known to man pretty much to fix the problem sigh.

Today's question is: Since (even though it is early for Bonus Ball/TBD on how the story ends), who is going to come up with the next idea in pool and can you give us a hint on what it would be to make the game in general better? Whether it be a new game, combination of games, new rule or whatever.

Who would it be?

and

What would you ask?

I'll share mine shortly.

best,
brian kc

Interesting topic.

Who: Keith McCready

What: I would ask him what his most devastating pool loss was, did it make him consider hanging it up and how he overcame it.

I agree...and while the Fat-one and I have never met, I do have good friends who know him well, and I do believe that he has never hit the bong.

Who really gives a sht if he has in the past? Cast that first stone if you are perfect/innocent. I don't smoke the ganja any more but a long long time ago I did a few times. I must be a druggie than...gimme a sec while I post pictures of my arms to show the holes where I shoot up daily.

To tell you the truth, I've never really had a devastating loss to where I would want to quit playing. Maybe take a break for a day or two, but that's why I have other avenues to be able to make money. Pool was not just the only thing that I relied on to make money.

There was one occasion when I was playing Allen Hopkins. I believe it was in Memphis or Ohio. It could have been Ohio. I was down 10 to 5 in the finals, and I got the score 10 to 10. I was running out for the win. Just as I was down on the 7-ball, some guy jumped up from out of the clouds in the crowd, and he was the only one you could hear, loud as hell, and sharked the sh*t out of me on purpose. I'll never forget it. Needless to say, I jumped straight up on the ball, and Allen won the set 11 to 10. It cost me about 7,000.

I've always been pretty good at overcoming adversity. I used to spot people all the time just to get a game, take the worst of it. So any kind of dart they would throw at me, I sort of took it well. I've never been damaged by losses, just hurt a little bit, but it never took me a long time to regroup.

There's been a lot of heartbreaking losses. I mean, I could go right on down the line, but that one with Allen sort of got to my goat a little bit, the way I was treated in that finals match. It's a shame when it just has to be one character, but you always have two or three bad eggs anywhere you go.

I've asked the one AZer the one question. Not sure if I'll get a response, but at least I can say I asked. :embarrassed2:

Paulie, ya can't win with this unfortunately.

The best you'll end up with is a stop it from Wilson.

I don't get it with all that guy has said on here and the number of times he was going to leave calling everyone an idiot, how people run to be insulted by him.

My question would be, would you play anyone you didn't know a set for your pocket? Maybe the better question would be, would you play one more after you lose your pocket to the unknown.

Wow, back drugs that you smoke through a pipe? Never heard of those. Of course, I wouldn't know, I am just wondering based off of what he has posted.

*edit* Actually, I suppose marijuana could be issued for a back issue. I must have assumed things incorrectly.

Yes, I WILL marry you! I get to be in the will then right?

Phew.. I thought I'd have to deal with the debt all on my own. :p Not sure if I'm ready to accept responsibility for a child, though.. but, I guess he does play pool.

Asked Schmidt a question, but then he logged in and said he wasn't going to post any more or something. Sooo, guess I'm assed-out.

He'll be the least of your worries, I have a 19 yr old that is getting married this month, a 21 yr old that decided that being able to drink means you MUST do it and often, and a 7 yr old that yells at anyone that says "no, you can't do this" to her. All 3 of those are girls.

I'm sorry.. it's not you, it's me.
