Introducing Whitten Gun Cases

Hello AZ’ers,

My name is Jillian Whitten, I am the daughter of Dan Whitten and Joe is my older brother. I am posting today to tell you about my division of Whitten Cases: Whitten Gun Cases. I have been devoted to perfecting the Whitten Gun Case and want to introduce them to you. Whitten Gun Cases makes custom handmade leather cases for pistols, rifles, shotguns and tactical. Each case is made of all genuine leather and/or wild/exotic hides and includes memory foam and soft black ultra suede on the inside protecting your gun in the event of dropping or banging. Every Whitten Gun Case also includes Genuine Black Stingray zipper tabs.

Whitten Gun Cases has the similar sleek look and elegance of the Whitten Cue Case and many customizations are available. I am so proud to be carrying on the Whitten name and reputation alongside my brother. Please take a moment and visit my website
http://www.whittenguncases.com
Below, I have included a few pictures of my cases and would love to answer any questions.

Best,

Jillian Whitten

Hi Jillian,

I must warn you that this thread could possibly be moved to the Non Pool Related section of this website. There will probably be someone on here to see that it is moved, but it won't be me.

I noticed that this is your first post. Do you shoot pool? The reason I am asking is because there are some on this forum that will blast you for using this thread/website solely for the purpose of advertising. Not me. I am a gun owner and believe heartily in my Second Amendment rights as a United States citizen. So, the thread doesn't bother me.

The ONLY grief I might give you is if you manufacture/sell firearm storage equipment and are NOT a member of the NRA. Anyone who has anything to do with the firearm industry for profit should be a member, as should any employees of said company. If you are not, I urge you to join this group, as it is hard for someone like me to take serious a person peddling goods that is not a member of this fine organization.

Good luck with the new venture. Those are some fine looking gun cases.

Interesting, if only I had any guns! ;). Are you or any of the Whittens planning other types of cases besides cues or guns? (like wallets, bags, laptops, cameras, lenses...)

I like my whitten 1x2 cue case very much ;)

Thank you for your compliments and kind advice. I love pool and have been involved in the sport and industry with Whitten Cue Cases for almost my entire life. As a new division of an already established Cue Case business I am sharing new info. I am absolutely a member of the NRA, received my latest magazine today.

No we are not planning on making other types of cases, but I am not closed minded to new ideas.

Jillian Whitten

Does the cases have any Whitten logos?

I like the Browning case, do you have a website with prices?

Prices

Thank you so much for your interest. On my website I have an entire page devoted to prices for all cases and customizations.

Whitten Logo

Yes, Whitten Gun Cases has its own logo. Similar in type to the Whitten Cue Case logo. It normally goes on the bottom of all cases, but can be placed anywhere such as the picture below... Small oval piece with bird dog in center.

Being a Whitten cue case owner, and a local (down the road from you folks) and a avid shooter and gun owner - this move is BRILLIANT. Your family is talented and your craftsmanship is top-notch.

The shooting sports industry is booming! It is amazing the amount of $$$$ people are whipping out buying all things related to shooting. From firearms, to optics and accessories. It's huge. Even in these bad economic times, the shooting industry can't keep up with demand. New products succeed at a very high rate, regardless of what they are.

Shooters are also bigger spenders. Not cheapskates like most pool players. The average shooter spends many times more on a single firearm or accessory than the average pool player spends on their cue and case combined. It's economics. Can't expect to make much off of people that ***** about $1 increase in table time. Whereas, in shooting - many pay $20/hr for range time or hundreds a month in league fees and range time. And that's not counting much more in ammunition.

I wish you good luck.

Your best bet is to hit up all the various gun forums. There are literally dozens of them populated by hundreds of thousands of users each. The forums are a major area of commerce. Entire businesses exist on forum traffic alone.

I've sold quite a few things and did well. A far cry from the pool world where everyone tries to beat you down or lowball you, and if not - you sit on the item for ages.

I love pool so much, but man is it in a pathetic state compared to other things.

Good luck.

Nice looking cases. Good luck with your site.
You might want to spellcheck it. Rifle has 1 F

Hi all,

I have seen and held several of these gun cases, and I must say they are simply stunning, with all the quality and perfect execution found in Whitten cue cases.

Jillian is a perfectionist, and has contributed to the quality seen in the cue cases we all love to own. These cases also have my highest recommendation!

Jillian, I wish you the very best of success!

I'd like to echo Will's statement that these are truly some of the best made and elegant cases I have ever seen.

Whitten has a style that can only be compared to the finest Italian designers in my opinion.

I don't own any guns but if they made laptop cases just as nice and protective as these gun cases I'd be all over it.

I saw these at the SBE and they are truly luxurious.

Will,

I am so very appreciative of your kind words and well wishes. Knowing you for so many years your recommendation means so much.

And John thank you also for your complements, I know you know your stuff!

Best,

Jillian Whitten
