Is that TONY ZINZOLAS HAND in my pocket

Steve
I am so sorry you have to go through this but I have heard nothing but bad of this guy from day one .......wood is not that old and that why it will warped on most of his cues
I will never own one of his cues just from what some people tell me

I HOPE and PRAY you will get your money back

your the nicest guy to deal with and you don't deserve this at all

people who take advantage of others are IMO a PICE OF SHIT

I have never done it and never will .....

All the best

Hi Steve,
I know it's none of my business.
I was very hesitant to post, and, I know I put myself a t risk to be hated. :(
And, I don't mean you or anybody no harm of disrespect.
Just a thought I am frustrated with..

When you do take legal action, Tony's wife will find out.
I know you and the others have money involved, and, you guys deserve to get it back..

I can only see one way out for Tony.
His In -laws are real Japanese.
They will, like most real Japanese, offer to pay the money for Tony to "Bail Him out".
Because of the Shame that it will bring his Children and his wife, who, is, their loving daughter.
Japanese have so much honor, some even commit suicide for their disgrace.
They would do all to protect their loved ones.
Can you imagine, his in-laws are old, and probably don't have income..
They will give up their life's savings to help/protect their Daughter, indirectly, helping Tony "Swim out" at their expense..
I wanted to post this so all the forum can see how much more depth Tony has brought about, hurting many innocent people that had nothing to do with his actions.
How tragic and infuriating this would be..
I have nothing to gain and have no business in his actions.
I just sit back and worry for his Wife, children and in-laws , as, " The ones who loves him the most, will be hurt the most....."

I am in the same boat with Tony Zinzola. I have paid for 3 cues that just needed finish and shafts and was told 2 weeks and it is now 2-1/2 years. I also have a down payment on a cue that he needed to start from scratch for me at the same time frame. That cue was supposed to be done in his 2012 batch. I am stuck and probally will never see cues or a refund. Here is his last PM that he sent me back in late 2011.

I don't think I'll be finished with the last cue for at least another week. Have been stuck watching the kids for this past week and next.

Give me a couple days to get things cleaned up and I will send out the first two and get the last to you after Christmas.

Not to be a killjoy BUT... in NJ, you can file in small claims for under 3k, over that its a special civil suite up to 15k. At the end of both even if you win, you can only get judgments, and then you need to start another costly procedure if you want to go after wages, and liens.

Even though once a party accepts a "down payment" it is a binding contract at the quoted price, its still a headache to go down this road.

Now if enough people are involved, and there is substantial money and multiple states and fraud and deception can be proven, maybe you can get some action.

At the end of the day, you cannot get blood from a stone. You'll have to hope that the person has an ounce of self respect and does the right thing.

Tony uses "the kid" as an excuse frequently, I heard it frequently with my Tony Zinzola ordeal, kind of like a politician who says NO COMMENT!

I finally go my Cue # 113, had a feeling trading it off would be a great idea, and only suffered a little loss.:)

Tony IMHO had the ability to be a Cue-maker in demand, and now his reputation is tarnished to the point he need Jessie Jackson or some other spin doctor to get him back in vogue.
:scratchhead:

Hey

Something JV said I agree 110% with.

Joe makes a lot of sense, and we understand all of that. My attorney will lay out a course for
Us after contacting the district attorney in Mass. Each state is different.

As far a not getting anything.......knowing that the whole fiasco will cost him a lot of $$$$$$$ for attorneys, will make me, and at least 4 others VERY HAPPY.
Did I say VERY HAPPY.......

See u in court real soon Tony

.

About 10 years ago my truck was parked in the street in front of my house when a drunk senior citizen ran into it and fled the scene. When we went to court and I provided the judge with the list of damages/ lost wages etc., the judge looked me right in the eye and said, "you can't draw blood from a stone." Luckily I was prepared and in the end I was given a portion of this gentleman's social security for 2 years.

Did I feel great about this? Not really. Did he deserve this? ABSOLUTELY.

*Edit - I realize this has nothing to do with Steve's situation but it always makes me laugh when I hear the "blood from a stone" statement in certain scenarios.

Alton Takata - Cue Caps

since you also posted in this thread, i'll post my response again...

it is naive of you to think that his wife is oblivious to all of this...especially since tommie has already showed up at his house to confront him about the situation. she knows what's going on, there has been zero effort from his direction to resolve this situation so it is what it is now. he's been given chance after chance for over 2 years to fix these problems.

also, the people he ripped off have families too, if you would like to grieve for the innocent people in this case, why not grieve for us? we got ripped off AND now have to invest even more time and money into the situation in order to try to get what is ours.

Hey

Alton, thanks for your very honorable point of view on this situation. we have been friends for many years and I listen to every word you have to say with a lot of respect. I personally feel terrible for Tony's family, and I actually feel very bad for tony himself. when you talk to him, he is a very nice gentle person.

but none of this changes the situation.

we are still going full steam ahead on this thief and con man.....because at the end of the day.....THAT'S WHAT HE REALLY IS

I wish you all the luck in the world Steve dealing with this Tony situation, as I personally have an idea how many times you were promised by Tony resolutions to this situation created by Tony.

Tony apparently thought he could just promise, promise, promise, and never be accountable for his promises.

Now he will have to deal with the situation that he Tony created, and only he is responsible for.

Best of luck with this, Steve. Liars, cheats and thieves should not be tolerated by honorable men.

So my question is, how much did the price of TZ's cues on az just drop after this thread? People who own Tony's cues must be sick, I'm glad I don't own one... 30% 50%? Ive seen a couple for sale in the FS section, who would be interested in purchasing a zinzola after this..

let it go

Can we drop this subject its getting out hand things like this have happened with other cue makers from what I have heard of course its 3rd hand info so I don't know how true that is but it seems that its getting cruel to tony and again I'm sorry that this has happened but let's let it go for now please thanx if u do

i would buy one on the secondary market for sure....it would need an piloted ivory joint with radial pin....but it would have to be dirt cheap...tonys cues do play well...and i hope my friends get what they are owed....
