Joey Korsiak won't honor $100 owed

Thanks for all the information.

Joey was crying and sobbing, down on his luck in Vegas, but playing in the Pro Event. He had run out of money.

Yes, I lent him the money, and yes, I did not really know him. Where I come from a man backs his word.

But, after lying to my face, and now repeatedly sending me emails that they he is still down on his luck, and lost "hundreds of thousands in the markets", I feel it only prudent to share Joey's plight with others.

His work needs to know of this, Joey obviously needs a raise. Or, perhaps they may look again at their employees once they have an example of character and the way he promotes the sport. I will take great pleasure in doing so.

I enjoy watching the pool streams, I will perhaps beg for some money for poor downtrodden Joey, in the chats, so he can feed his family, since he obviously can't send me the $100 he acknowledges. Poor Joey K.

And I must contact all the tournament directors where he shows up to play, to be very careful about extending this gentleman any credit.

Excellent, work to do in a few days. Maybe if anyone sees Joey, they could inform him, because his cable and internet is probably shut off at his house, since he his so down on his luck.

I am actually quite looking forward to spreading the word about Joey Korsiak, I can almost imagine him sitting on the sidewalk on the corner with his cap out....on his knees.

Just so I understand, you are telling him that he should go to Vegas, kill this Joey guy and bury him out in the vast Vegas desert?? All over $100 ????

Ummmm...no? Is that the right answer? I was definitely not telling him what he should do in this particular scenario...I simply said what one of his options could be...

Okay...all BS aside, this is how I feel: I'm so freakin' tired of seeing good people being walked all over. IF this scenario happened the way the OP states it did, then in my opinion the freakin' thief/liar deserves what's coming to him...whatever that might be!

It's amazing to me to read all the posts in this thread stating the OP never should have lent him the money....and very few condemning the person who isn't paying up! WHY THE HELL NOT LEND MONEY? Why not do something positive...like help someone out who's down on their luck? I personally think the OP was a decent individual to do so...I'd give you the shirt off my back IF YOU REALLY NEEDED IT!

However, the flip side of me is this...when I'm "wronged", I don't believe in an "eye for an eye" or more to the point of "getting even"...I believe in getting ahead...however that might be!

There's a difference between making a "mistake" (as we all do something without clearly thinking of the consequences sometimes) and willfully doing something to harm someone else (whether it be physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially, etc....). I think one deserves a second chance, while the other...ummmm not so much!

This isn't "tough-guy" talk...which I've seen a lot in some of these types of discussions...it's just the way I think...so I guess that makes it my opinion...

Maybe we could peer pressure Ronnie to pay everybody back with a good old AZ nega-thread.

I heard that Ronnie has Millions of dollars in collectable Wheat Bucks, man I would like to get my hands on them.

I mean, dude, really? All this over a friggin c note??

No shit this guy has way to much time on his hands!!!!! I mean the guy is acting like a jilted lover!!!!!:p Dam now that is some scary shit, where is Judge Judy when you need her!!!

Haha...yup, I have a little time on my hands.

And I do feel jilted...my first trip to vegas as a pool player...in awe of the Pros in the 10 ball....

After a few days and a couple of brief converstions, this PRO presents me with this request for $100, and states that he is a reputable professional, and he wants to see me look at the game in a positive light.

Yes, he has struck a blow against any young, aspiring pool player looking up to their idols.

So, yes, I have allotted some time to make sure others are aware of this person and his lack of character. It pisses me off a great deal, especially when i see him entering and playing in tourneys and challenge matches so much. he obviously could send the money.

In my opinion, this person has just said "**** it" and hoped I would go away. NOT.

And, I will be in Vegas next spring, so that will be as long as I am owed the money, if it is not paid by then.

To the fellow who thinks setting up a website over a c note is crazy...dude..it took 4 whole minutes to set up the site, then copy and paste from my INBOX.

I think this is more the principal of the matter or the lack of principals not the money.Guys I know would never create a website over a someone stealing a hundred bucks but they would beat a guy half to death if someone ripped them off for that hundred.I think this guy is taking the more gentle approach!Goodluck

I for one am happy that people who blatently rip people off like Joey did can get called on it and have their reputation tarnished by their non-reputable actions. It paints them as the type of person they truly are and it protects the next person who Joey tries to beg for a "loan" who happens to have read this thread so they know that to Joey loan = handout.

It is about time people were held accountable for their actions.

This is what JOEY said in his e-mail to this guy.(N IF U R HURTING OVA 100BUCS U BETTER GO OUT N WORK. GOD BLESS TTUSOON....LOL......)

To tell the guy that loaned you the money to go out and get a job are you crazy. Maybe joey needs to get off his lazy ass and go out get a job and pay his debt. Maybe joey should quit playing playing pool cause obvisily he is not good enough to support himself doing it. I understand being broke and down to your last dollar but handle it like a man and dont tell the guy who loaned you to get a job.

surprised

Just another broke-a$$ pool player who thinks this world owes him something.

Joey, go collect some bottles and pay this man. Something tells me he is going to takee this $100 out of you either way.

He will probably take $100 plus interest out of him.

Its a load of BS. If a guy can afford to play the stock market and lose 100's of thousands, he can pay back a 100.

Next time you're in Vegas, just walk up to him and give him a quick rabbit punch to his nose and call it even.

The amazing thing about him not paying is that he says he has a family. Does he not remember what went on in the hotel room? What happens in Vegas is not gonna stay in Vegas much longer!!!
