Just asked to have both my accounts deleted

I'm not jumpin' ship. I LOVE reading a bunch of "grown folks" arguing about nothin', callin' one another names, threatenin' ass-whuppin's, et cetera. It's very entertaining to me, sometimes I'll slip a jab in, then sit back & wait for the nuts to chime in! As for the admin doing their jobs, keep in mind the bouncers on Jerry Springer do their job also! lol

Sounds like Russ needs a therapy dog. That seems to be the thing to get these days for the youngins being raised today with dangerously thin skin.

Life certainly can't be easy if someone posting provocative words, that you have never met, in an online environment puts you in a tailspin.

AZ ain't the problem.

Medication or a therapy dog.

You got that right.

Your logic seems flawless...only with one exception: when you post in some thread or you even open a new thread you kinda want to know whats new in that one. And actually it is quite easier for me to avoid conflict in real life than here to be honest, people can be really mean online vs how they speak in real life..

I have to agree that people can talk with immunity online, not only on here but anywhere on the Net. I don't know about you Marek, but for me it is like water off a duck's back. I KNOW that they will probably take a different tone in person, much more subdued. I've actually had the experience of meeting someone in person (at DCC) who had spoken pretty harshly to me online prior to our meeting. They were very polite in person. :)

I use the ignore feature-have maybe 2-3 active users on it, including one from this thread-Unfortunately you do see that they posted-but not the content which is the important thing.

Russ, will be sorry to see you go. We have had our differences of opinion, but wish everyone could just get along and play some pool.

I don't tour the mechanic's area much, but if it's anything like the aiming forum, well :bash: :deadhorse:

This forum has been a great source of entertainment for me for years. Lots of laughs reading all the woofing posts and the aiming "debates".

I ain't goin' nowhere either (spoken in my native Texan tongue). :grin-square:

If you saw any of my vids Jay you would probably get the idea how people act in real life interaction with me :grin::grin: (hint - I dont get in many conflicts in real life:grin-devilish:) But it doesnt change the fact that I personally dont take conflicts easily, I am as introvert as it gets and for introverts generally its not usually "water off a duck's back" (I like that one, never heard it before:thumbup:). So I guess that may be the reason why some people here are ok with the current state and for some its quite painful..

Marek, you just need to come over and go to "pool hall bootcamp". After just a few days of tough play, "friendly" banter and "jovial inter-personal relations" you will NO longer be bothered by anything said by some keyboard cowboy. ;)

ShortBusRuss,

Dude, just take a little time off AZ, put whoever is bothering you on ignore,
and go play some. It IS an internet forum... this s**t happens.

I have seen it and read about it a thousand times here on AZB. So many posters get honked and frustrated when a few others try and turn their threads into a joke or start with the insults or turn the thread towards a different direction.

Unfortunately, we've lost a lot of good and knowledgeable people here on AZB because of this. Losing posters like Dave Sapolis just isn't good for business. Its obvious there needs to be more monitoring to stop this or at least stop a good percentage of it.

Having said that, I'd like to once again let the Mods - AZHousePro, Mr. Wilson, Chucklez, etc - know that I will be glad to be a moderator for you and maybe we can try and "Make AZB Great Again.."

People are funny, tell them things they dont want to hear on an OPEN FORUM and they want to sensor others.... I think I may have had about 3 threads between this guy and I.... I have seen school children with thicker skin than this joker. Never cussed at him, never said anything that was not true and I surely never invited him to meet up with me at Derby City for a brawl. :)

Well call me thin-skinned all you want but labeling for example post #168 from this thread https://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=484393&page=12 as a joke or funny response is not my cup of tea,its purely disgusting...:(:frown:

I dont know you Marek, I was not "poking" at you. You should not leave and I agree that is not acceptable posting.

I have went my rounds with ONE person on here and it aint this Russ guy. He may have a problem with me, but, I dont know who he is.
