I wouldn't say he's REALLLY good.... but he's pretty good. ;)

ps im sure somone will know the reason for this post ;)
That's great snookered. I saw that interview when Landon was about 6 or 7 years old. I think it was a TV interview. From the minute I heard it, I thought that was a classic line.

I found a link........... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFl_vsJJG7A

I would like to brag a little on Landon Shuffett. It's not often a young man of Landon's age would take the time to sit down and write the letter I received today. In fact, it is the only letter I have ever received from any player.

Thanks, Landon, for choosing us as your case sponsor. We look forward to making the next one

That is called "CLASS", remembering to say than you.;)

...and he's not that far off! He's already a world-class junior player...and one who has already beaten several professional players, in professional tournament play. The thing that stands out the most about Landon, to me, is this...He's very focused on ALL areas of his life...not just pool...his education...he's an A student; his family...he's very well-mannered, polite, and behaves like a professional player is supposed to (in public, and private); his faith...the whole Shuffet family are entirely devoted to each other, and God; his ego...Landon loves several other sports (and plays them well too), and yet he is humble about all of his abilities (including pool, which is very refreshing); and last, but not least...his pool game, which he works at diligently, on a daily basis, with one of the best instructors, as a coach and teacher.

All in all, Landon is simply a very well-adjusted, and well-rounded young man! I had the pleasure of spending a day with Shuffets, and you just can't say enough nice things, about how good it feels, to be in that loving and supportive atmosphere. You have LIVE that, for it to really be part of you...otherwise you're a phoney who acts one way in public and another way in private. Best wishes to all the Shuffets! Hope to see you again soon!

outstanding!

Jack,

Landon does seem to be an outstanding young man in all respects. Very nice for you and pool to have a representative like him.

Speaking of outstanding, I take a minute to look at JoeyA's POW/MIA case you made every time I see it. Beautiful work!

Jack,

Thanks for sharing the original picture of Landon's case, as with all of the cases you build it is awesome. I am very impressed by Landon's letter, I wrote Ben Hogan a similar letter when I received a few hats from his company as a young golfer in Homestead Florida back in the mid 70s. However, I find it a little sad that this is the first letter you have received from a player you made a case for considering all the great cases you have graciously made for many top pros over the years. I think that might speak a little to why this sport suffers to move forward. Hopefully, with people like you supporting young players the sport will continue to grow in a positive direction.

Thanks again for sharing and especially thanks for the great cases you have made for me over the years.

Take Care

Cant say it better than that.

Jack and Landon are class acts and each deserve each other.

I guess these folks on here questioning Landon's skills should check out YOUTUBE and see Landon put a Western Kentucky Asswhoppin on Earl Strickland....

As I mentioned .... Landon would be a better pick for the Mosconi Cup and represent the USA in the way it should be represented.

Classy kid from a classy family. I have had the pleasure of meeting Landon briefly as he hit some balls at his home - very polite and humble young man.

Don't know why Joey dug up this post from 2008 but I liked seeing that letter he wrote to Jack. Landon did a great job sending it and someone did a great job teaching him proper manners with that thank you note.

Good manners are hard to find. Props to Landon for a lot of things, but mainly for being a respectable guy.

Oh and btw...sloppy handwriting = sign of genius :p

Agree the letter is/was nice when it was posted.

You know why he digs up 5 year old posts, so he can continue to have things to post about and get that post count up. He's the first to talk about useless posts, and then he goes along and resurrects all these old posts and you get lambasted if you mention anything about the post being brought back from the dead.

To add him you'd have to kick someone.

He's not beating anyone on the team anywhere near more than once or twice, and for sure not in the Mosconi type format.
