The difference between golf professionals and pool players is simple.
Golf professionals have standards of play and conduct to maintain to keep the procard. Pool has none of that.
In my opinion (so as to not be accused of libel) Golf professionals understood and supported the development of their association. Most pool players are only interested in what they (as an individual) can get.
They have not learned the lesson "The needs of the many out way the needs of the few"

I was being factious about Shane....I'm 100% sure Shane doesn't want to be in a leadership position.....that's my logical, humorous input based on "signatures"
Golf owes a dept of gratitude to Arnold Palmer, Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus....if you've studied the history you'll agree with that statement. Arnold knew the key to golf's future was entertaining TV Shows and that's what they did with SHELL's Wonderful World of Golf......and the rest is history.
The players controlled their own business and could concentrate on key business issues that effected them directly from that moment on. 'Their Game was the Teacher'
