Hey B-B,
I like your little pink dollhouses. Can I send my granddaughters over to your place to play dolls with you? I'll pack ALL of their Barbie & Ken dolls w/assessories !!!

I used to go down to D&D and play a guy named Gel phillipino rules rotation. AWSOME game, and that is how i practice here at home. It makes all other rotation games seem like tiddlywinks.
BTW...practice your spot shots!

The way Efren and Busty played, combo's counted. If you shot a 3-11 combo, making the 11 would add that to your score and you continued on.
I didn't understand all of the rules. Kicking was different. You could hit a rail before the object ball and as long as you hit the correct OB, no ball had to touch a rail after.
Also, if you were hooked you could give up BIH behind the line and the OB would spot on the footspot.
There were more rules but they didn't go over them and those are the ones I could figure out based solely on observation.
Don't read too much into the slop part of the rules. Good carom, combo, 3 cushion plalayers and kickers are deadly at this game. They play a lot of two and three way shots. NO JUMP CUES. Johnnyt
Busty told me when they play rotation, if the cue ball comes off the cloth its a foul, and you wonder why they all kick so damn good.
I think Busty pull your leg a bit. Johnnyt
He actually isn't Johnnyt! The way they play in the PI is that u can't jump a ball and make the object ball directly. However u can jump a ball and as long as the cue ball hits a rail first before contacting the object ball, it is a good hit. I found this out the hard way.
So basically this takes away jump shots for the most part, unless you are a master at jump kicking!
I'd like to see Shane or one of the other US heavy hitters play Efnen or Busti or another top player from the PI. Either on the 9' or the 10' table. Race to 50 in 2 days. Would any one else like to see this? Johnnyt
Played about a dozen racks of 15 ball rotation on my bar box tonight and never came close to running out. I can only break at 20% right now as I've had a flare up of gouty arthrities, but even with a good break I can see a run out will be real tough. Now getting to 61 to win the game is a lot easier. I'm going down to the pool room this weekend to drop off a ball cleaner and I m going to write down all the rules to "61"
Also when your turn is over you put your balls in the tray or ball holder, and the Phillipino guys always group them by "10's" to make it easier to keep count....also when you are on your last 2 balls the other guy will usually tell you. It took me a few time to get used to the rules, but it is worth it. There is MUCH more strategy with kicking and billiards/combos/spot shots, then our version of rotation.
I bet if we got into it here in the states.....it would take off like wildfire with the better players......just like one pocket.
