I have two people on AZ that I'm going to match up with. They don't know it yet but we are going to play. I know what rooms you hang at. They are both "B" players so they say. Maybe one or both are really "A" player's meaning I'll probably have the worst of it. Both these guys have pissed me off on here for saying that I BS and I don't play anybody. We shall see. Johnnyt

1) I can't beat you. I need the 4 and out and the breaks. And I never play for less than $50 a game, or more than $20 a game. And we can only play on my turf, which is in Tahiti. And it has to be rack-your-own 11-ball, on a table with newly installed Simonis 860, 2.75" pockets, professionally levelled, and floating in a vat of mercury to eliminate the micro-vibrations from people walking by on the street. And Larry Nevel will break for me. F*** it, it's too much hassle, the bet's off.

I'll take $20 on Johnny in both matches. I'll bet $20 on the side that whoever he is talking about backpeddles and "if" they play the game it will be cheap, begrudging, or after 20 minutes of B.S.
 
the last time I had someone woofing at me on az, I go show up at the pool room and after much more than 20 minutes of woofing and stalling we ended up playing races to 5 for 20 with me giving up the 6/7. True story

there are alot of great players on az, but for some reason your far more likely to get woofed at by B and C players on az than A players. Id have to also bet that Johnnyt will win, but you never know. Tampa has a shit load of good players thats for sure and everyone I talk to seems to be on AZ.

The reason, IMO:

If the woofers were really excellent players, they'd likely have the quality of confident self-assurance that usually comes with such skill. People who are confidently self-assured don't tend to feel any need to woof at strangers on the internet.

Or more simply: loudmouth = insecure, insecure = not all that good, therefore loudmouth = not all that good.
