Lou wants more

Most of the time, John didn't even have enough time to *think* "thin the 2 and leave the cueball on the short rail on his side" between the time the balls stopped rolling and stroking the next shot.

And yet most of the people in attendance seemed to notice John talking to and being talked to by his coach between shots. His coach, btw, is a VERY strong 1 pocket player. So there's that.

Go figure.

I didn't have him removed before the match started. He put a chair directly in line with me and set up a camera. I let him get to me and made the decision that he had not earned the right to be present at my match.

I was being calmed by the guy I have been taking lessons from. He would say the same things any corner man would say. Like get this money John, work it out John, don't leave nothing John..... Nothing prevents me from having a corner man and he will be there today.

If he was telling me what to shoot it didn't work too well because Lou won two games AFTER he got there. No matter what I still have to be the one to shoot and I came with some great shots to stay in this match.

As for Mike's presence, we got into a little barking mid match after I nailed a CTE aimed bank and said that this is why we are here. I just let myself be bothered by him but I survived to fight another day.

It is a race to three now. As Lou already knows I can win a short race against a better player. So we will see what happens.

What are you getting games on the wire

Encouragement is not coaching. If it was, then every time someone clapped after a player won, they would be coaching.

You know, I used to get really pissed off when forum members would rip apart the pro players ad nauseum, but after this match-up, reading the multiple threads about it, I realize that some members on this forum would rip apart Willie Mosconi himself, if given the chance to see him on a live stream. What a bunch of whiners!

I wonder how many people on this thread would step up and play for 10 dimes and have it live-streamed for this forum's critique. :grin-square:

You don't like the content, feel free to leave.
All you seem to do is complain about this place anyway.

I am curious about something, and please don't take this as me trying to start an argument. If this was a bet between these 2 guys, why does Lou have backers? Is John playing with his own money and Lou playing with someone else's money? When I gamble, I always play with my own money. If I don't have enough to cover what the bet calls for, I find a way to earn it myself, without the need to gain backers.

Stake me and I'll play.

Not really. I contribute a lot of content. You just seem to hang out on the flame threads and may not read pool-related threads that I do contribute to. :)

You also piss a lot of people off and annoy them. And then you complain that its always OUR fault. I can't count how many times you've b!tched and moaned about the state of the forums these days. And you have, on a number of occasions, said that you were done with this place. But yet, you're still here... complaining. Why?

They said on the stream last night that JB had a backer too. Neither was playing on their own $$$ per the commentators.

You do seem to enjoy needling people. It's not just me.

If you look at my friend count on this forum, I'm doing okay with people who do like me and what I write. It's usually the members with a bully mentality that like to gang up with others and tag-team. It's easy to do this behind the protection of a computer monitor, especially when you're anonymous. Kind of like you.

That said, if I annoy people like you, then I just consider the source. Have a great day.
