Well.... If you want new-cloth action, silicone on the cue ball will get it for you.Pledge contains silicone, tough to get that out and that stuff should not go anywhere near cloth and balls.

You could try Woolite to get the spot out. The problem is that then the Woolited area will look clean.
But I would mention politely to the supervisor that pool cloth is special and has to be kept dry. Do you ever vacuum the cloth?
#1 Tell them. Also make it clear that the table was to be re-covered. Then also make it clear that the table should have been covered when not is use anyway. They need to know about all aspects of this situation.

I'm going with this one, B-B.If they have done a solid job for a good price for all those years I would overlook it and not say a thing. Cover the table when they clean the basement, problem solved IMHO.
My maid did something similar. She was polishing my vintage Rolls Royce and accidentally got some of the polish on my Mercedes Benz. I was going to give her one of my Balabushkas for Christmas but she can forget it now.
From now on only the butler touches my cars.
