Say in August, say maybe, oh I don't know in Kansas City?
Watchez....you out there?
We got to find something for Mika to get into. I have an idea that would be the nuts but it is far off right now.
Johnnyt said:I agree it would be fun to have an undercard of AZ players. The only trouble is we could never find a hat big enough for all the AZ "A" players, weather real A's or imagined. Johnnyt

The match that I would to see here is Mike D and Jason Klatt.Mainplayer said:Everybody knows that I am down for playing just about anyone that is where I am at. I am not going to jump onto some champ when I don't have to. The people that I have called out to play have all refused. That just makes them all afraid to gamble. Chad if anyone fare wants to play you no how to get a hold of us.
Young guns Challenge 2
Justin Bergman
John Morra
Jason Klatt
Shannon Murphy
Oscar Domingez
Tom D'alfonso
Mitch Ellerman
Eric H? from canada
and any other YOUNG players that want to play. I am 21 and these players are around my age.
Jude Rosenstock said:I actually like the idea of two forum members playing on TAR. The only downside to the OMGWTF v CUBC match was that it was sooooooooooooooo political.
So, I think there would be at least a list of 40 ACTIVE forum members that are A to Open level who you could pick out of a hat that would be fun to see match up.
On a second tier, there's probably a hundred or so Bs that would be fun to see.
I just thought watching amateur play was a bit refreshing. High calibre amateur play may even be MORE fun than watching the pros.
Mainplayer said:The next match that I would like to see on TAR would be Mika vs. SVB. This match would be great to watch. Who does everyone like in the match?
uwate said:Is Mika an action player, or does he just play tournaments?
Terry Ardeno said:Mika is the only pro that I have on my "ignore" list. He's not "fan-friendly". He's way too arrogant & prissy, he whines and has hissy-fits and pouts way too much to reward with a T.A.R. match, in my opinion.
Other than that, he's a great player.
beetle said:That's the first time I've heard this. Did you have a bad personal experience, or see something at a tournament? Are you sure you're not confusing him with Earl?![]()
uwate said:Jude would you play?
Jude Rosenstock said:I've been thinking about that very question all day. Honestly, I don't know if I would. There's a part of me, like many of us, that really enjoys the limelight. I like being on the head table in an important match with the room watching.
However, playing infront of a camera I can see being a bit different. I am, afterall, an amateur player and I can't say I play well (at least by my standards) every time I screw my cue together.
Instead of how OMGWTF and CUBC did it, I would probably want to do a series of sets. Something like 3 races to 9 with intermissions inbetween would probably suit me best. That way, if I felt distracted during the first set, I could take a moment to regroup. I'm not AFRAID of playing poorly infront of a camera but I'd like to play well and would do whatever it took to create something that's familiar to me.
Still, I would be particular about whom I played. It would have to be someone I had no beef with and the stakes would have to be significant enough to want to win but small enough that I'm not going to want to jump off a bridge if I screw up.
Southpaw said:Ok Jude, heres what I propose...You and I play a set of 9 ball, one pocket and 8 ball (I really have never played banks or straigth pool). Wel will put up say $1500 (not too crazy) and the winner of 2 of the 3 sets gets the cash. I can give you about a dozen names on here, some pros included, that can vouch I am no "A" player. The only person I can say I have gambled with that you may know is Evan Broxmeyer and I won...although I think it was a fluke. I think it would make for a great undercard match on TAR. Whatcha think?
