Minconceptions SW or Kersenbrock..

I have a good friend who was at their shop and saw David working on DPK's so I have some doubts in your source.

I have seen David's signature under the wrap on a Omega/DPK cue, I don't think he would of signed the cue if he hadn't touched it.

Tim Cole was my source. He told me that he's sold more Omegas than anyone.

I dont agree either..

Cueaddicts has a Omega/dpk and it has Kersenbrock all over it. The inlays are some of the worst I have ever seen.

Absolutely a Kersenbrock, no other cuemaker would let inlays get out like those.

Dont get me wrong. In the list of significant cuemakers and Kers is the on there near the top, and most if not all present day cuemakers should send him a percentage as most if not all are VERY influenced by him, especially if they are using one of those big ass 3/8 -10 (or similiar) pin.

Look at Cueaddicts.com at the Omega/dpk. THEN TELL ME THAT KERS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT CUE!

that's the most ridiculous statement i've ever heard.

To my Knowledge, Mr. Kersenbocks current mental faculties are not quite in order(no disrespect intended). In fact according to some of the top cue makers who are also Friends with David he has been having problems for many years, and I think it is a truly a shame.

So the statement may not be as ridiculous as it seems!!

My "85" SW also has the big hole and the slimmer pin. But unfortunatley the shafts do not have the yellow linen based micarta ferrules..They were gone before I got it. I will get getting it authenticated by Laurie when I go out to vegas in March/May.

When JF bought DPK's business he also bought inventory.

Included were hundreds of pins.

These were used for some time...

ugh... I used to own one of the two cues listed on cueaddicts.com. I can tell you from experience that the Omega/DPK hits absolutely nothing like the SW or Kersenbrock.

I think you're stretching your logic a little too far to say that since the inlays on the cue are some of the worst you've seen then it must have some Kers in it.

Hmm....I was told that even if the cue was made by DPK in southwest shop that SW would certify it as their own. Make sense to me.

Regards.
