Excellent cue.

I trust it was well worth the wait.

:clapping:
:happydance:

While there is a lot of bashing, the quality of this cue is extremely high.

I am disappointed that Tony's post on cue making, how to do inlays (for myself as a "bench riding" cuemaker want-to-be) were stolen by others as a result in his posting his last AZ forum post. (It frankly is in poor taste that a few rotten apples do spoil the bushel basket.) I can not fault Tony's explanation that his family came first. [I missed too many of my kids pagents, awards ceremonies, musicals, sporting events, and parenting support opportunities in chasing the mighty pay check.]

Tony has implemented some changes - such as limiting cue orders per year as evidence he also sees the need to change (or desire to build the cues he wants to build).

The inlay work with fine outline is something I would not look for in most cue artist's work - unless I knew they were Tony. (Bravo Tony !!)

I own a few higher end cues, but you have me wondering why no ebony on ebony cues. You got me wondering. (So many cues to own, but so little time.)

One thing is for sure. Tony's leaving the forum was not something I am happy about.

Great looking cue you got there just wish the guy was not such a dick who made it. You cannot argue with his talent though just his customer service. I remember seeing what you had to go through to get it made. Love the inlay work and abologne!

He's gone through less than others, and quite frankly, those not in the know on this whole deal should STFU. Mickey got a fantastic cue for a killer deal.

While Tony isn't the best at many customer-facing aspects, he does make it worthwhile in the end.

<-- still waiting, but hopefully not for long. (wonders if your abologne has a first name....)

Easy buddy because I do know the deal. Micky is a great friend of mine for about 17 years and I show no disrespect to people I do not know. I am not just some troll on here trying to bash someone. I never discredited the cue makers work but did not agree with his customer service and how he handled things with this cue. Have a nice day hope you get your cue and you love it. Maybe you will not disrespect someone without knowing them first next time.

That's beautiful Mickey! Love the outlined abalone.
Looks like you're going to have to do updated pics of all your cues together now!

I'd ask to see it in person but I know how you are about traveling with your cues. :D
I may get over to Houston sometime actually. They have a fantastic Al Stohlman Museum there I've been wanting to see in person

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmm Mickey! You didn't mention this one. Wow.
What a beauty. Congrats buddy. I'm in awe.

Dat aint no Monster........Dat's Godzilla!

i liked it when i first saw it a couple of months back on AZ and i love it now...

That's got some serious bling as another poster said. That's not a cue for league night unless you are trying to pick up some chicks.

Very nice...

A ton of work in that beauty, Tony is amazing. Very nice Mickey, thank you for sharing it.

thanks david, rod, bob and don. i will have this cue with me at the expo in a few weeks....;)

Hi,

Working with silver inlays is a very difficult skill set to perfect in building these big cues concerning the finished look.

Tony seems to have got to a place that is in rarified air concerning this difficult task execution.

Kudos to Tony on an great and artful work,

Rick G
